Nice mod, if only there was a mod that let any settlement that it was in slowly produce quantum (without killing it of course), since its both not the most effective and mostly just sits there
Kill the radstag, which unlocks a quantum radstag head decoration in the workshop menu, or...
Recruit the radstag and send it to a settlement, where it will help defend if the settlement is attacked. The "protected" flag ensures that it won't die during such attacks, unless you do the deed yourself, just as with settlers, robots, and pets.
I always recruit it because it is both unique and legendary, and it is just plain cool seeing a massive, black radstag with a blue glow wandering around my settlement. :-)
Yes, there's a check box in the ACBS - Configuration section of a character's NPC (Actor) record that can be clicked to make the NPC "protected" (only the player character can kill them), "essential" (no one can kill them, but they can be downed), and "invulnerable" (NPC "god mode," I think). If none of those boxes are toggled, the NPC is mortal and can be killed by anyone. Hope all that made sense.
Edit: Just realized I forgot to add "on" in the description. Twice. D'oh.
I actually made this mod a few months ago, but it kept getting bumped off my schedule in favor of other stuff. Ended up forgetting about it in the process. Stumbled upon it this morning and figured I should post it before I forget about it again.
As for future mods, I'm still focused on updating the Diverse series (posted the Trappers update this morning), but I've found several more "Unique Faces" candidates in the process, so I'll be posting them here and there as time permits.
