Though I admit some of the upgrades are really extremely powerful, still: just my opinion but people should consider to rather increase the damage of laser guns (and especially the phaser guns of the institute).
Simply because imagine what ever is the reason to have this most modern at the time futuristic gun which will shoot laser, even more the super advanced high tech institute phasers are equally like these ridicolous pipe guns, IF especially some WW2 abomination of the combat rifle is much more powerful and usefull at all... That would be like a deterioration and a waste or recource and materials since no one ever would build and us it if it's worse than using a usual traditional gun.
For real, except at the very beginning I was not using any laser/institute rifle at all because they are just toys (compared to the Protectron or other robotic lasers which are weirdly dangrous as hell), until I increased the dmg by FO4Edit.
Thank god. I was considering doing something similar to this myself but I dreaded having to comb through all the power creep attachments etc. Excellent work as always Whisky
The power creep stuff may still need more polishing, but this is at least a decent start. If you have any feedback on stuff that needs further tweaking, let me know
Don't really understand the removal of the magazine, small perk mags like that is standard Vanilla. Can we get a version that keeps the magazine? I Like making the guns follow vanilla naming standards and rebalancing, but I like my collectibles. I can easily change the mod to keep it myself, but figured I'd ask if you can just create an alternate for those of us that still want it, but want everything else.
balance. 5% additional damage with ALL energy weapons starts to mess with base game balance, and that kind of power creep in mods adds up suprisingly quick.
If you really want it, just copy it over from the original, it'll take 10 seconds in fo4edit.
Thank you for doing this, there's a lot of cool fitting weapon mods but they didn't feat Bethesda vision for the game. Feel free to ignore, but may i ask a version of this mod with the unique gun disabled from spawning?

Does this work with your Unique Replacer - Wazer Pwistol?
Or should I just stick with the original if i want to use your replacer instead?
