Make sure and read all of this! This is my first replacer so hopefully it will work for you
I'll explain best i can if you have questions or problems let me know.
Notes on the replacer
If you follow all the instructions below just using the esp should work and Cait should look like the screenshots but I'm including a facegen and texture files in the download section should have problems with getting the replacer to look right.
If you have the X-Cell mod installed you need facegen files for it to work. If you want different textures for cait you'll have to export the facegen data with the creation kit to make sure they match.
If your just using the replacer and have facegen and texture files installed all you need are Extended Facial Sculpting ,Asian Face Enhanced, Unfair Skin , and Kim Hairstyle to be installed. if your just using the esp without the facegen data you won't need unfair skin and can use other textures but it could change how Cait looks compared to the screenshots.
Face ripper and FO4Edit were used to make the replacer.
Required
Looksmenu - Needed or preset won't work
Extended Facial Sculpting - Needed for shaping the face
Asian Face Enhanced - Needed for facial features
Kim Hairstyle - Needed for the replacer optional for preset
Optional
I'll consider these optional in case you want different textures or don't
feel like messing with the mods below but not using these will cause the
preset to look somewhat different.
Collection of textures and presets for the girls - Eyebrow replacer and face overlays, if not using this one you'll need
to adjust or change the eyebrows. you don't need the esps from this just some of the textures.
Unfair Skin - skin makeup and eye color
Toothpick Stretching Mouth Bug Fix- Only if you get the mouth mesh stretching bug
Lightweight Lighting - lighting mod used in sceenshots
Quantum Horizons ENB - Only used in some screenshots no enb used in the looksmenu screens
Vtaw Wardrobe 9 - outfits used in screenshots
Texture install order
Slightly different install instructions and order for this one. I use mod organizer 2(Mo2) for my mod manager
This sounds complicated but it isn't once you understand it.
1. install Unfair Skin first. Choose Fair, yes to K makeup, and yes to eyes
2. install Collection of textures and presets for the girls second it should be below unfair skin. Don't install the esps for this we just need the eyebrows and face overlays .Next we want to go into textures/actors/characters and delete the folders named Basehumanfemale, eyes, hair, midagedfemale, oldhumanfemale, and piper. This gives you access to all of the face overlays and eyebrow replacers
3. Some of the textures in the COT mod are the wrong size so it creates a black face bug but ELPaTRaN has a download that will fix it.
Install this next its in the download section here called "CoTap Face Texture Specular Fix"
4. After installing all this into Mo2 I then pack my textures into a bsa using the same order above then disabling the loose files in Mo2. The preset and replacer should now look like the screenshots if you did it correct. If you don't have stuttering with loose files you can skip step 4 but i always have stutter if i don't pack all the face textures.
Pack your textures
Make sure and pack all face textures into a bsa otherwise you may have stuttering.
