For people having the pink texture issue, here is what helped me:
1.Download the Loose Files version of the mod.
2. Activate as normal.
3. Find the "Main" and "Textures" BSAs for all of the required CC, you dont need the ESPs or ESLs
4. Copy these files and only these over into a new folder
5. In the New folder, use BSA Browser to extract the contents of the BA2s into the same folder
6. You should now have the following file folders in your folder: Materials, Meshes, Scripts, Sounds, Textures and Strings
7. Delete the Scripts, Sounds, and Strings folders and use 7zip to Zip the Materials, Meshes, and Textures files into an archive and name it whatever you want.
8. Load that Zip file into your mod manager and activate it as you would any other mod.
Personally I don't use and never will download or install the NetGen update.
Alternatively, you can just disable the Variation Slot on the Power Armor's Helmet and Chest. The Enclave paint and logo appear normal now (for me).
If you play on very hard setting, just use the ECO Mod and beef your stats up. Not sure why people use up 2 slots on a bodysuit and then give it such a low rating, even with ballistic weave. Shrugs head.
Didn't work, half of the armor is still pink. Undersuit, armguards, bags, and part of the gasmask piece of the helmet have texture, but the rest is still missing. I went and acquired the Remnants, X-02, and Hellfire CC content, all three files for each, and it didn't work. Then I tried following those steps with main and textures files for the three mods, no change. I even tried putting this mod at the bottom of my load order to see if something might be interfering with it, nothing. The textures are definitely there, I can see the files, and all three CC content in game are working properly. The Hellfire PA isn't pink, the X-02 PA isn't pink, and the Remnants I'm looking at right now aren't pink (unless they're wearing the Recon armor).
Bit the bullet and upgraded then downgraded again, seemed to fix it. Not sure what the problem was.
You can manually install them by moving their files to Data folder then copy the mod .esl or .esp name with the extension and paste it in a Plugins.txt file that you will find it in this directory :
C:\Users\(your user name)\AppData\Local\Fallout4
Just make sure to add an asterisk "*" behind the name after pasting it to activate it
Got the files but no matter what I do the texture issues and invisible PA remain. I've packed together the meshes/textures/materials folders from the X-02, Hellfire, and Remnants main and textures bsp files and installed the zip made with them into Vortex and I am having zero luck. The models seem to refuse to load the textures and models aside from the undersuit (the only thing working).
I've done this as well, (running on the downgraded version for clarity) and I cannot seem to get it to work. The hellfire and X01 PA models in game have their textures, they just do not seem to want to transfer over to the mod. I understand that this mod was made with the newest version of F4, but I simply do not understand why it does want to play nice with the textures if they are not installed on a post-update game.
EDIT: By doing the upgrade-to-downgrade process I somehow got it to work. Here was the process: 1.) have the CC's installed and this mod while having a downgraded game. (I also had the CC texture and material files installed separately per the instructions at the top of this discussion- idk if that had anything to do with it though)
2.)Verify the game cache in steam to force the game to update itself again to .984 (it will simply say however many files failed to validate and update the main game files-nothing in your load order will be lost)
3.) If you happen to get a error while updating that says "steam disk write error", simply open up windows explorer, go to the disk in which steam and it's game files are installed too, right click the steam folder, go to properties, uncheck the read-only box so it is blank, apply then update the game.
4.) Once its done re-launch M02 or your desired mod loader, launch the game and it SHOULD work. Again this worked for me running on the .163 downgraded version. I also ended up getting the quests from the CC's and remnants right away when I re-launched it, which I did not get the first time I downgraded, so must be a weird issue with the downgrade mods. Hope this helps some of you though!
First time messing with internal files trying to get this awesome looking mod to work, have a question. I can find the scripts and strings relatively well, but I just want to ask which kind of files I am looking for to delete to make sure I get them all.
"I CANNOT stress enough that this NEEDS both the Textures.ba2 and Main.ba2 files from the X-02, Hellfire, and Remnants content included in the nextgen update. The ESPs aren't required, however. There are multiple ways to get these files and keep your game downgraded."
What specific mods is this statement referring to? I don't see it in the Requirements section.
Yep! I'm having the pink and purple textures of death alright. I've read the instructions but I don't know where to find them and how to find them. Main.ba2 this texture.ba2 that, like what? hahaha.. Welp! this is too complicated for my monkey brain. My monkey brain solution is just to ignore this armor mod, such a shame.
P.S
- I'm new to this modding addiction please don't hurt me. I hope it gets an update to avoid all this complication for monkeys like me or a video on how to fix it would also be great.
I recently updated this mod as well as a few others at the same time, and now all pieces of Hellfire Power Armor that spawn in the world read as "LOOKUP FAILED" instead of Hellfire/X-03, and I was wondering if you could check your mod to see if it might be causing the issue somehow?
You should be able to just change the keyword in the leveled list record for the patch. For really simple stuff like that, I'd suggest learning fo4edit
Dang; I was looking for this exact thing. Your pics only show the classic logo being used, so to be honest, that's what I had expected to be getting in-game. It felt a bit misleading; especially as it only seems to be the PA that's using the new logo. it might be worth noting in your description that the AR2 patch doesn't use the logo shown in your own photos, as currently, its not mentioned anywhere. Or uploading an optional OG Logo download would be even better, as suggested by EIGUF. Or at the very least uploading photos that indicate this.
There's like 30 emblems in the mod that you can choose from lol. It's not very misleading? My screenshotter chose what they liked best. If you're really bothered by the ar2 patch using the Ar2 logo, just change it in fo4edit. Not sure why it wouldn't be expected that the Ar2 logo is used for an ar2 patch either.
Just a suggestion. How about adding a script that can be activated through a consumable to attach / detach ARGUS optics from the equipped helmet. Not sure if there is a way to pick the ref of any equipped item, but if there is, the script would simply check a valid helmet type is equipped, check you have the appropriate mod in your inventory, then apply the omod via amod, Or if the helmet already has one of the optics, remove it and add the mod to your inventory. If you are carrying multiple mods, a message could pop up, where you can choose which optic to attach. I guess it would also have to check if the helmet has a headlamp, so the mod can be added to your inventory when it is disabled, and reattached when the optic is removed.
Any chance you use Power Armor to the People and you're under level 30? The group at South Boston Military Checkpoint doesn't show up until level 30 in that patch.
I was actually not using it and level 50 and and when I did use power aarmor to the people this specific power armor mod made my game crash on start up

If you have pink textures, it's not a bug with the mod.
If you like the mod, don't forget to endorse it also! It helps support me and is a good motivation to keep making things like these.

8. Load that Zip file into your mod manager and activate it as you would any other mod.
The texture issues should resolve then.

Anyway, awesome mod. Thank you and Endorsed.
and how are we to do this if we don't have said CC files? You can only get them if you update the game.

here's how
(FYI THIS IS FO4 GOG 1.10.163)
1. dowload the CC mods by snowdog57
2. download the BA2 Archive Version Patcher by DoubleYou https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/82114?tab=files
3. on a folder place the textures and main Ba2 of the cc Remants, Hellfire and XO2
4. run ba2 archive patcher and run a patch in the folder
5. continue SylvainGautier77's instruction 5 to 8
