Just a heads up. Night Vision does not work with this! I went to the ENB Series wesite and thought I found a fix, but it didn't work for this version.

Also you may need to edit the enblocal.ini file found in the Fallout 4 root folder to match your graphics card memory size. Under Memory change the value to whatever video memory you have. 1024mb=1gb. Mine is 12gb so that's 12288mb.

In general, I messed up everything and looked not at your source file, but at my edited one. There's still no SkyScattering in your ini.

That's a totally different feature of sky scattering with atmospheric ambience in version 0.501. This ENB wasn't made for that version and I'm surprised it even works as the fx files are a different format. Plus if you don't have all the requirements it will not work as intended. You have to have at least the hard requirements to get close to what my screenshots look like and all the requirement plus the recommended ones to be spot on. SMH

You only have one soft requirement:

I have an assembly of mods downloaded from a third-party resource.

Really enjoying this enb so far. Yesterday I tried various enbs new and old then switched back to this one in the evening and there's something I really like about this enb compared to previous ones. I have a good rig (7800x3d+4080s) at 4k, and the performance is much better than I expected for how good things look. The shadows are intense and during certain weathers things seem darker than they should be, but I still like it. Most people might not like it so maybe it's worth adjusting.

Just adjust the ambient lighting under environment to your taste, not everyone's monitor is the same ;-)

never used ENB or shaders before. Gave this a try and unfortunantly It runs horrible on my rig. Im using an AMD 3600 with a GTX 1080 and normally I get a solid 60 fps in 1440p with all settings on ultra with a few texture upgrade mods. With this i got a solid 45 fps standing in a fully scrapped out sanctuary with nothing built. Shame, I really like the way the game looks with this.

Yeah it can have an impact on machines running older graphics cards. I have a GTX3060 and in some areas it tanks to 20fps if there's a lot of NPCs in the downtown Boston area around Mass Fusion fighting and what not lol.

I've been told the best way to get more fps out of fallout 4 is to get a CPU with the most L3 cash you can. I'll probably stick to my 1080 since it does amazing with fallout 4 but my next move is going to be a 5800X3d. Maybe then I can get 60 fps in Boston and run ENB too.

I'm running the AMD Ryzen 9 5900X with the GTX 3060 12gb OC and 128gb RAM LOL!

you like the 5900x? I've strongly considered doing the 5900x instead of 5800X3D. A 5900x can be had reasonably close to $200 on ebay.

Yeah the 5900x runs really smoothly. I used to do a lot of 3D artwork and it really helped with render times.

If you play video games there's no reason not to get a x3d cache cpu..

I spend about 50% of my time gaming and the other half 3D modeling video editing and other compute tasks so a 5900x might be better for those things but honestly im willing to trade work station performance for more frames in downtown Boston in fallout 4. it's annoying getting sub 60 fps and seeing my gpu is only like 20% utilized. I did get a jump in performance switching to this AMD platform over my old Intel I7-4790k but not as much as I want.

Interesting, my 5 cents, reduce the shadow strength.

I may have to. Some areas are a bit too dark in broad daylight lol.
