Got a weird thing you might be able to help with.

So I don't have a problem with the settlers falling through the bridge...per se. They still do but...eh.

I have a problem with my settlement guards staying below the bridge. They'll do the little patrol route they're supposed to and stay under the bridge, like they're patrolling between two posts, but the guard posts are up on the bridge proper.

I'm not sure if I'm the only one to have this issue, a quick look through the existing posts does not yield any similar results.

The visual border has indeed changed to look like the second image.  The issue is that as soon as I step outside of the vanilla border it detects that I am outside of the build area and closes my workshop.
I also cannot place anything down outside of the vanilla border even while standing inside.

Happening to me too, it's really a bummer

Update: "Settlement Height FOLON" Conflicts with this mod causing the exit of build mode at the original boundaries, removing that mod restored the expanded area although both boundaries are visible when in Build Mode

      Thank you.

I did wonder if that mod was causing problems and as i have it and if you say it is conflicting then i'll remove it.

Would it be possible to do this with covent garden as well? I feel like the boundary for that location isn't high enough and I don't really understand why there is so much empty space that you can't build in.

I second this. Would love for that location to have more room outside of the prefab area. Maybe be able to tear down some of the hooligan decorations.

I third this because Mountbatten decided to throw a party with most of the town on the roof the other day and I had to use console commands to get them down.

I second this as well... I love Covent Garden, but really hate that I can't use it fully/clean up the place.

as with the vast majority of mods, they go in the Data folder if you're installing manually. if you're new to modding, I really do recommend using Vortex or another mod manager if you're installing multiple though, it makes it much, much easier to track down what is causing issues if they arise.

ty for the answer. i tried installing fallout london thru vortex and it didnt work for me, so i just did it manually.
i normally get my mods from moddb, so i have not had a need for vortex. im not a complete novice, but not an expert either.  ty for the mod tho!

Can't install london using vortex, you gotta install it using the gog installer then you run vortex

Don't forget to have a clean install in a folder somewhere on your pc so you can copy paste instead of downloading when clean install.

It's a shame, great idea, it just doesn't seem to work on my game (updated to version 1.01) installed manually

For anyone getting errors trying to save this plugin from xedit or if you are getting errors cleaning it, or other unexplained non-game breaking but annoying buggies, try changing the file name to .esp

I completely by random luck saw a line on the xedit message window as it was trying to clean the mod that said something like "f*#@ you buddy, you ain't saving this as londonbridgeexpanded.esl until it is correctly flagged."

Someone down below was having similar issue and has more information about why it was being problematic as an .esl file but they recommended changing the name and it worked.

Save the bitching about cleaning mods, there was a reason but I was stoned off my ass. Wanna say it was throwing errors in Wrye Bash. There were multiple mods with issues I was trying to stumble thru to fix stoney bolony and don't remember exactly why I was cleaning it but it lead me to changing the .esl filename to .esp so f*#@ it, ima call it a win.

So my settlers never move once assigned to a job. When they first spawn in, they will walk around the bridge, but the second i assign them a task, they freeze in place.

So Beefy fell through the bridge and died before I could do his quest. Short of just forcing ownership of this settlement, is there any way to force his quest to start so I can get the settlement properly? He won't talk to me even after using recycleactor (I know this isn't what your mod is for but I figure you may have an idea since you've been poking around the area).

An appropriate SetStage would probably do it. I don't have the quest details immediately to hand, though, sorry. I'll take a look tomorrow if you don't have an answer by then.

      Ok, found it.
      SetStage FOLON_LQSouthwark102 10
should start the quest (you'll miss out on the quest dialogue though).
In the quite likely event that you can't then turn it in,
      SetStage FOLON_LQSouthwark102 100
should complete it and give you the settlement.

Same thing happened to me except that Beefy died when he was a settler in the settlement. I tried resurrecting him and recycleractor commands but no matter what he won't follow my commands and doesn't work in the settlement even though it still lists him as a settler. Any ideas how to fix this?

Any plans for the Bighill Airport ? If there is one place that needs an expansion, its that place. You have an entire airport at your disposal and you get a mere square of land. The border should be a bit outside of the actual walls of the airport, so you have wiggle room to build deffenses (tho, the attack points of the place might have to be modified too in some capacity). Either way, i dont really know how the Druids will interact if you expand this settlement onto their praying turf, but would be cool to see !
