Thanks a lot for this update. Sad to see you go when a lot of new traffic is showing up to fallout 76 due to the TV show. Will find the donation link and donate because this allows me to play on my 57" ultrawide without the UI elements hanging out on the sides. EDIT: Found the donation and donated. If you want more donations to keep this mod going let me know or respond to my PayPal email and I'd be happy to support.
April 22 update to the game added a mini season feature. The mini-season challenges require the player to be equipped with a backpack skin that has to be unlocked (for free) from the mini-season rewards. To access the mini-season rewards, the player has to go into the Season menu, which now presents an intermediate screen to choose between the current main season "Glow of the Ghoul" and the mini-season "Appalachian Outlaws".
When this mod is enabled, opening the Season menu brings the player straight into the main season rewards. I had to disable the mod to see the intermediate screen and be able to browse the mini-season rewards to get the required item. Once I got the item, I re-enabled the mod, which doesn't prevent the challenges to be completed, but once I'll want to spend the earned season tickets to get rewards, the mod will need to be disabled again.
Until it's updated, for anyone who wants to revert their ghoul character back to a human, you need to disable this mod to see the reversion option in the character selection panel on the main menu.
same issue (and similar request for the team panel thats bottom middle(ish) on the left. Any way to move either of these elements to the edges? I tried using HUDEditor but that mod doesn't seem to be working anymore
Hey bud, firstly, thank you for this mod, it's made the game playable in 32:9, Bethesda should really get themselves together and support this game more, but we all know they won't lift a finger to help any of us, so thank you.
Only issue i'm having is that when I inspect items/weapons, or looks at items at the trader, workbench, in general. Everything is...squashed? compressed? Only example I can think of from the top of my head is that a long barrel shotgun now looks like a sawedoff because of how squashed all the items are.
Do you know if this is just how it's supposed to be? Is there any fix? Did I install the mod wrong?
I'd really appreciate yours or anyones input on this, i've had a quick scroll through the comments and I couldn't find anything related.
my screen is smaller when looking in stash, or trade windows. it has grey bars on each side of the screen, and the bottom part where you can see what the keys do like sort and such is cut off.
does anyone know why this part didnt change? or how to fix it?
I know you almost stopped maintaining this at one point, so genuinely thank you for still providing us ultrawide users this. You make this game playable, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.
I normally use HUDEditor to move the Team list to the top left. It looks great. Unfortunately, with the latest update it's not playing nice with with some other HUD items. If you could move it there it gets it out of the field of view.

For anyone having issues, I got it to work using "sResourceIndexFileList =" instead of "sResourceArchive2List =" like the description suggests.
This is what my Fallout76Custom.ini looks like:
[Archive]
sResourceIndexFileList = PowerArmorHudFix.ba2, UltrawideFallout76.ba2

In the fallout76 folder C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\My Documents\My Games\Fallout76\
Falloutcustom.ini
fBookDistance=10.0000
fNoteDistance=10.0000
fBookOpenTime=500.0000
fInventory3DItemZoomY=-50
These settings are for 7680 x1440 so adjust them for your screen size.
The smaller the number is the larger the zoom is.
