This mod never stopped working for me.
Note : I use the "Blade instead of arrow" mod.
(although it possibly does not work for all newer legendary enemies)
I think you need to be sure it loads after any other mod that alters or affects your
seeing enemies in general (like ESP glow mods), or other mod(s) that can affect the
appearance of legendary enemies.
Also, these mods only display the marker object (or other added effect) during the short duration
when Bethesda normally gives legendary enemies a "special misty glow effect" (or maybe other type).

can you make it so these costumes have large transparent arrow, so they stay even after death
