I think this is causing problems with audio cutting out across the board, for me. As soon as I installed the mod, it was cutting out sometimes over 50% of the time. Once I disabled it, audio was back to normal. What might cause this?
Hey there! As I started to actively play the game again this season, I decided to update some of my mods, this one included. Now the auto-miner is silent as well!
Not yet, bc I've been using it since I got it and it doesn't really bother me, the sounds are subtle and not so distracting as the ones for other collectrons. I can make an update for the doggo though.
Hello someone asked this a year ago and I'm just wondering, does it mute F.E.T.C.H. Robot? I'm deciding on spending my gold bullion on it but only will if your mod mutes it. thanks!
I switched to Quantum collectron a long time ago because that one set to collect fasnacht treats bring you both, Nuka colas AND sugar bombs (which I use for brain bombs ofc), so I completely forgot to add silent version for the dog. I'll try to find the sounds for it if I'll have time for that, thanks for the reminder.
You can download one of the previous versions of my "silent everything" mod (the one prior to v.1.8.1), there is a separate module for fasnacht collectron there!
I'm not sure if it was intended or a side effect of silencing robots but the NPC Sweetwater is silenced for me when doing the Tea Time event. To clarify, I mean the disembodied voice that comes over the pipboy radio and not the physical NPC next to the tea pot.
Edit: Maybe it was a bug because now he's speaking again during the event... It just works? Lol
Hmm, I don't think it's this mod, because it only affects lines said by protectron-type robots. The lines for sweetwater reside in a completely different directory. You must've been using some other mod alongside this one for that to occur.
Yeah, I got used to people blaming mods in everything that goes wrong with their game usually forgetting it's an utterly buggy Bethesda game in the first place :D
Honestly, I haven't tested it since I don't have raider collectron, but I swear I isolated Ace's files and muted them. Does the mod work with other collectrons? Because if not, it might be an issue on your end somewhere.
Oh finally, the shrink has came out with another cure so maybe now I can stop hearing these God awful voices in my head, repeating the same phrases over and over and over again. God knows I don't need to hear about recycling toilet paper anymore or not having the proper muscle structure to join the Brotherhood of Steel....

Please doublecheck you're unarchiving the ba2 files to fallout76/data folder and making all proper edits to the fallout76custom.ini MANUALLY.

I removed the old, separate versions for collectrons and the Fasnacht collectron before installing this new one.
If it is possible to make something like this for the voiced allies, it'd be wonderful.
I wish I knew how to mod cause I would just make it myself but I don't even know where to start.
