I started with max difficulty and being stealth than hardcore difficulty than normal still enemies are bullet sponges with aimbot you can't see them and they hit you half kilometer away with shotguns and after a while becomes frustrating no mention your buddies are weak like starving african children the nice features are melee kills and no malaria sickness
I'm a bit ignorant about FC2 modding and haven't played this game in years but I still wanna know if modders have finally cracked the code to disable enemy respawning in outposts , at least make it so that they don't respawn so quickly.
It's not just respawning outposts but basically everything is refreshed on "area" when you leave that "area". Blame console memory limitations for that. Basically impossible for modders to fix.
Another thing is that if respawning outposts are problem, you're playing it wrong. I have completed FC2 at least nine times (with different mods) and never had any problems with that. 1. when fighting as lone wolf, never go back where you came 2. Read map and you'll Never have problems with respawning outposts.
Anyone complaining about respawning outposts just cannot play game properly.
The mod crashes after the intro mission where i die and some people save me, but instead in loading screen it just crashes the game, tried 3 times and always crashes, any idea how to fix it?
I really love the way it just remasters far cry 2 and gives players a new challenge, but i somehow can't get past the intro at all. Like, once you pass out from the malaria, get picked up by a truck and the loading screen plays, it just crashes during loading. As for the combat, i didn't experience it as much but i already liked it while fighting your way out of pala (Btw, the emergency healing i really love!). The visuals are stunning as hell too! It's almost like a brand new game for me, with all the moody coloring becoming vibrant. Anyways, do you know what could be causing the loading screen crash for me? As far as i'm aware, my far cry 2 steam copy only had far cry 2 redux as a mod before i swapped to this one.
Liking the mod so far! this mod combined with vivid colors enb looks amazing, however the game became incredibly difficult that i have to play on easy, I play the game with a controller. Also think i stumbled upon a bug but I'm not sure, the burst fire rifle with the scope is now a shotgun for me and some npc's. i hope the original rifle is still a rifle instead of a shotgun but can't check cuz i haven't unlocked it yet it just spawned in the crate with dlc weapons. Anyway great mod game looks beautiful, even better than far cry 3 for sure!
So after installing, my game crashes at random. It played fine for about 5 minutes on a previous save before the first crash, so I assumed that was the problem and deleted my old savegame to make a new one.
Now, sometimes the game can't even boot fully before crashing. Sometimes it crashes on the main menu. At two totally random points in the opening cab sequence it's crashed.

It's entirely possible and there are a few mods available that mean outposts stay cleared for 30 mins etc
