i'm having some trouble figuring out if the mod is working for me or not. I tried with default 5 and didn't notice any change, so I bumped deep woods stuff up to 7, but no extra stuff is spawning T-T
Make a 'mods' folder where the game .exe file is(MOMI also has a button to make one for you). Put all the extracted mod folders into that and run MOMI again and they should show up.
If you look at the mod description pages of some of the popular mods they have more explanations if you need them.
In the fiddle folder there is a file named "scavybusiness.json". In that there is a few places with both "farm" and "dig_sites" in them (three of them) change the 5 on those to 0. Specifically lines 4, 51, and 55 are where you need to change the 5 to 0.
If you want you can change the numbers higher, things above 7 start to get iffy as the game will crash to desktop when the map runs out of spaces to spawn things. The game will crash on start of day at least and you will have your save from going to bed so you can try, each map has its own cap of spaces and there are some extra rolls that can give 2 or so extra spawns to maps as dig sites so be careful but its easy enough to just start new days a few times to make sure your numbers are safe if you go above the default 5.
Edit: If you want to test this make sure you test with a 45 character with all the archeology may spawn an extra dig site skills and roll a couple weeks of days. Big double digit numbers, like for example 13, will fail immediately but some you need to roll to check if its safe. I found 5 to be safe on every map so thats what this mod does.
