Not him, but I like FF VII Remake’s battle theme (and the original), IX’s battle theme, and VI’s battle theme. I think they would fit well in 13’s battles.
Also, what would I need to do to make this work with the Windows Store version of the game? I've moved the installation to an accessible folder, but I'm getting a permission error when I try to run the patcher, even when I do so as Administrator.
Sorry this mod won't work for the gamepass version.
Now if you are interested, then you can help me out a bit with testing that version of the game so that I can somehow make this mod work for that version. I cannot guarantee that I can make it work as the gamepass version is a black box in a lot of aspects and would need more research to be done on the filesystem but atleast I can try to do something about it.
Cool. please hit me up on discord and to this username Surihia#0797
Hope you are comfortable with discord. I will get back to you an hour later in discord and we can discuss everything there and start this whole research.
Unfortunately there is no such option as it wouldn't sound decent. By default the game uses two different music tracks for the fanfare and the results screen. the first track is 13-1's fanfare which is quite short and not repeated while the second track is the result screen music which is long and repeated multiple times with the help of loop points.
Because of the short duration of 13-1's fanfare track, the game will end any of the custom fanfare track abruptly while transitioning to the results screen music. my mod disables the function that the game uses to play the result screen music entirely and because of that the fanfare track is able to be repeated endlessly.
I would love to add in more music tracks, but I have certain requirements and standards before using it in this mod.
For starters I want to use the actual music file from FF7 Remake's game files. the reason being that this music file when taken and converted directly from the game file is gonna be in the best quality and that helps a lot when you are converting the audio to a lossy compression format that 13-1 uses. As I don't have FF7 Remake, I can't get the audio file myself and not to mention I can't install the game as well due to lack of disk space.
The next part would be to loop the music file correctly. this is the most exhausting part when you are setting your own loop points and this is important if you want the music to repeat after it has played once.
Most of the music files that this mod uses are taken from FF13-2 and FF13-3's game files. Square Enix had already set the loop points correctly on the files and I just had to convert the audio files with FF13-1 compatible settings, give in the loop point values that is used and modify two of the game's script files to make it work as a single music file.
I can go with the assumption that the music file from FF7 Remake will also have loop points in the file itself but that is a gamble as the loop point values may not be there on the file and can probably be assigned from an database file or script file or by an in game function by that game. Its a mentally draining process to make your own perfect loop point for a music file and I am a bit picky with it being perfect.
So theoretically I can make one but it just wouldn't sound nice or be perfect as I want it to be.
I apologize if this whole post sounded rude or arrogant.
It's ok, I completely understand what you're saying. I'm a picky person on quality myself. It's better to have it done right so please do take your time, I'm in no hurry. I thank you for responding so quickly to my question, and the explanation too. :)
New 2.5 version of the mod is up now. this adds in the battle simulator fanfare track from VII remake
Do note that the loop point is not perfect and I have set the current one after having tried a lot of them. I have termed this track as experimental cause of this very reason of the loop point not being good enough. the audio should atleast sound nice, as I used the FLAC version of this music track from VII Remake's soundtrack album for encoding and conversion.
Update: I checked it out. Audio's good as you said, Volume is a little low but otherwise great so far :) P.S. This one feels like it fits XIII's style pretty well :) P.P.S. Low volume was on my end and I fixed it my bad >.< lol, anyway great work!

Can you give me a list of FF tracks that you feel will go well with this game ?
would really love paradigm shift or "run" from XIII-2!
- FF6 battle theme
- FF7 Remake’s battle theme
- FF8 battle theme
- FF9 battle theme
- FF10-2 battle theme
If you all feel this is a good enough list, then I can finish up this mod and release it sometime in the next week

Could you make a modding for the Japanese interface?
Thank you.
Do you want to install my mod for your game when it is running in Japanese interface ?
or
Do you want my mod Installer to be in Japanese language ?
