do you think you could potentially update it to work with green thumbs hair colors mod, i very much prefer vanille with red hair, but i essentially have to pick between hair and hd models or this with the no beads

Not good enough with Lightning, as I like all the stuff you did remove such as the cape etc.

Looking at Lightning she is essentially a censored Ashe and Tifa, where they have covered up her stomach and her throat area.

If you would remove her brown clothes that are in the way of her throat and visible skin right above the breasts that would be good, if you could make her show her mid-riff/stomach right above the mini-skirt that would also be good.

Square-Enix had no issue showing-off the stomach of Tifa or Ashe, but had to cover up Lightning's stomach.

Will this allow us to remove Vanille's big furry "half-skirt"?

Would it be possible to make a version of this thats compatible with the models included in "The FF XIII HD Project" I don't want to choose between the two .

If not, could you point me in the right direction on how to manually remove the beads from Vanille?
    Thanks! And great work

I wish I could! Hope's ugly scarf and granny shawl were one of the first things I tried, but unfortunately with his model if you get rid of it it leaves a big empty see-through patch in his model so it ends up looking worse :(

If you are looking for another way to remove a character's weapon without it affecting combat, you can change the joint scaling factors to 0.0 for where the weapon attaches in the main model's skeleton (SEDBSKL) when not in combat.  For example, in Lightning's case, if you set the joint "sw" scaling factors to 0.0, the weapon will be scaled by this value and essentially be gone. But since the weapon is in her hand during combat, it will appear as normal.
