    DLSS Mod v2.2 and FSR3/XESS mod v2.1 updates are now live!

    Changelog:
    FFXIV DLSS Mod v2.1
    Adds support for all DLSS presets and updates DLSS to v3.8.10
    - Updated optiscaler and DLSS version.
    - Motion sharpness now works with DLSS, new presets are included.

    FFXIV FSR3 Mod v2.0
    Adds support for AMD FSR 3.1.2
    - Updated optiscaler version.
    - FSR 3.1.2 is now supported on Linux/DXVK.
    - Directx 12 is no longer required for FSR 3.x. It now runs natively on Directx 11.
    - Removed FSR 2.x presets. (Replaced by FSR 3.1.2)

    FFXIV XESS Mod v2.0
    Adds support for Intel XESS
    - Updated optiscaler version.
    - Updated XESS to version 1.3.1.
    - Tweaked motion sharpness presets.

    If you come from a previous version delete version.dll before applying this update.

    We also have Discord Server if you need more help or just want a place to hangout.
    Given the amount of mods I've created so far I figured it would be nice to have everything in one place.

    I'm confused, I installed this and now my shaders are making a large white box as if the resolution scaler is turned on, I go in and turn it off but the large box is still there. Not sure what i'm doing wrong with this but that's exactly what I wanted to turn off was the scaling feature

    edit: followed the uninstall and now my game doesn't even load anything, gonna have to gut and reinstall. great.

    Help, I followed the uninstallation instructions but my GPU is still being spoofed as a 4090 and an optiscaler.log file pops up every time I run the game. How can I return things to the way they were before I tried this mod?

    Has anyone been able to make this work with the new RX 9070 / 9070 XT cards?

    I play on Fullscreen mode and wish to stay that way. However, after installing this Mod, my game crashes with an Unexpected Error after Alt+Tabbing out of it and back into the game (to clarify, it only crashes when I try to go back in, not on the initial Alt+Tab out). The crash even happens in the initial menu of the game (before even getting into the character selection or the actual game). It is consistent - happened 10 out of 10 times. The crash doesn't occur on Borderless mode. The only workaround I found is to first switch to Borderless and then back to Fullscreen; when I do this, Alt+Tabbing doesn't crash the game (and I can 100% confirm that the game does remain on Fullscreen when I re-apply the setting).

    Here's a screenshot of the error window:

    What I use:
    FFXIV DLSS Mod v2.2-2196-2-2-1733678906 (the latest one uploaded here on 08 Dec 2024, 5:28PM);
    3080 TI;
    32GB RAM.

    What I don't use:
    XivAlexander;
    Dalamud;
    Discord/Steam/Nvidia overlays (though I do have Wallpaper Engine running, if that makes any difference, but it would be weird because the crash happens on the way into the game, not out).

    I did install VisualCppRedist_AIO_x86_x64.exe from https://github.com/abbodi1406/vcredist/releases and restarted my PC before adding this Mod.

    One thing I tried is to change the Upscaler from DLSS to FSR 3.X w/Dx12 in the Optiscaler settings (in case this was somehow related to DX11) before attempting to Alt+Tab out. I still crashed on the way back.

    The Presets I tried (DLAA, Ultra Quality & DLAA with Motion Sharpness) made no difference.

    I tried deleting the Mod files and performing a Game Data Restore from the Launcher, then adding the Mod files once again, but the crash still occurred.

    Edit: Forgot to add - I don't even need to Alt+Tab between changing the settings. Straight up Fullscreen -> Borderless (apply) -> Fullscreen (apply) while in the game makes it okay.

      I was in the exact same situation.
      I just switched back to v2.0 and everything is fine now.
      I will wait for fix.

      Same here.
      What strange is that v.2.1 with new Motion Sharpness presets works fine.
      Wait for fix >_<

      Yeah I have the same problem as well.

      Might be placebo but I feel Exclusive Fullscreen runs smoother than Borderless.

      Sad that you can't download v2.0.

      It's not placebo, framerate stays the same but it completely botches pacing even using rivatuner. Also, it's still annoying but if you toggle from fullscreen to bordless and then back to fullscreen the game will not crash and still run properly in exclusive.

      I’ve uploaded version 2.0 of this mod, which was still available on my local PC, as we are currently facing crashes with the latest version.
      You can download it here:https://mega.nz/file/ZEZjgZzS#sl4882pIsxU6ec4Ng89ayoYs6KY9_W3q5uQlu5k3sF4
      For your peace of mind, I’ve also included the VirusTotal check result for this file:

    DO NO USE THIS MOD

    It crashes if you Alt+Tab at fullscreemode every single time, 100% sucess rate. Until then do not use it.

    Hello, I have a question for you. Will we have the chance to have frame generation later or is it not possible with an mmo like FFXIV today?

      Frame generation via optiscaler requires DX12.

      You could try using Lossless Scaling. It enables FG in any game not just DLSS titles. However it is a $7 steam application so if you are comfortable with that amount LS is amazing

    Oddly enough when I used this mod (AMD user) I got tiny microstutter every so often every time I moved my character. Uninstalled and it no longer happened. Tried the Ultra Quality and Quality preset.

    Already disabled Radeon Anti Lag too.

    Edit: Nevermind seems to be fixed by going Balanced.

    Edit: Or it might be caused by Microsoft Edge running in the background. It disappears if in exclusive fullscreen though.

    Edit:Nevermind. Borderless just has stutters. Need to go to full screen.

    For those wondering this mod is pretty easy to edit for DLSS4, just download the already available Cyberpunk "nvngx_dlss.dll" (or wait for the Nvidia update) to replace the provided "nvngx_dlss_updated.dll" then edit the "nvngx.ini" to change the "RenderPreset" values from 5 to 7, it should then use preset J which uses the new Transformer model instead of the old CNN one. You might have some artifacts in title screen but none ingame.

    Just to wait until this mod gets updated :)

      Nvidia provides a new nvngx_dlss.dll 310.2.1.0 in 572.16.Set to preset K to enable it.

      I confirmed that nvngx_dlss.dll v310.2.1.0 with RenderPreset set to 7 is recognized as preset K according to the DLSS indicator.
      However, I haven’t figured out how to enable preset J.
      Does anyone know if it’s any better or worse? I couldn’t find much information on this.

      I'm not sure how you can't find info. Anyway, K is supposed to be better than J.

      Yes basically preset K is an update of preset J with the new Nvidia update. Thank you for the news people!

      so setting it to preset 7 uses the new transformer model? I just downloaded the latest dlss from techpowerup that relased today the 1/31/2025

      That's right, "RenderPreset" set to 7 will now use Preset K which uses the new Transformer model :)

      I've been experiencing some DirectX related crashes with the last nvngx_dlss.dll (310.2.1.0). If you experience the same problem try using the older one from Cyberpunk (310.1.0.0). It will revert back to using Profile J. The visual differences are pretty minor, and I didn't experience any crash with that one.

    I installed gposingway and all, but the ui masks aren't working at all. How do I fix this??

      UI masks don't work in FF14 any more, since they all relied on render layering hooked onto the in-game implementation of FXAA. That's all the FF14 KeepUI shaders.

      We now use REST (Reshade Effect Shader Toggler). You need both that FF14-specific repo and the actual REST addon.
