This has odd behavior for me with Dalamud. With Ratio Override set to 1.000 and Override Minimum and Override Maximum enabled (DLSS), Reshade effects do not show unless I hit Scroll lock to hide all UI.
If I set the Ratio Override instead to 1.300, it works properly, but hitting Scroll lock then causes Reshade to offset its effects to the top left 3/4 of the screen. I expect this is because Reshade seems to be working on the buffer prior to the upscale.
Follow-up. If I set the in-game settings to FSR instead of DLSS (in the FFXIV System Configuration menu), then it works as far as I can tell... not sure if the upscaling is working as intended though. I have a feeling it is not.
Tried the latest version and also the 6.103 version since someone said that worked for them, and I only ever get the "D3D11CreateDeviceAndSwapChain" error.
I've uploaded version 6.1.05 as well as BETA 6.2.b5.0. Both of these versions should fix any issues with people not being able to open the menu and fully fixes ReShade compatibility no matter what type of graphics card you're running.
Please read the updated readme when updating to the new version as installation of the mod has changed slightly and you may need to manually delete old files.
If you continue to have issues, please let me know.

Still not opening, with both the standard and Beta RTX. Is it because I already have a 4090? I just want to enable DLAA. Wouldn't it be easier to do it by just changing a setting in the .ini file?
Hey, I'm actually also running a 4090 so there's some difference between us that's causing it not to work for you. Does the menu come up at all when you press the Insert key? If not, changing the ini isn't going to help you because the mod isn't being loaded at all. Are you able to load reshade? It should be loading via the exact same hook method in these most recent versions.
If it does load but gives you an error, let me know what that is too.
If all else fails, maybe just send me a picture of your ffxiv directory so I can make sure it's installed properly? Not sure what else it could be.
Same issue. This is the log output. The bottom line goes on indefinitely until i close the game. Installed correctly. RTX 4090 GPU. I have XIVLauncher but no Dalamud running. Crashes if dalamud is running. XIV Alexander is running but uses dinput8.dll. Reshade is in the plugins folder as described, runs fine when in game. Insert does nothing. Tried both Main RTX and Beta RTX builds. Only got it to work once on a previous version and was able to open the UI, after changing settings and restarting the game, stopped working. Could no longer open the UI.
Can you try going into your folder and renaming dxgi.dll to nvngx.dll and tell me if it loads? It won't load reshade but I'm wondering if the mod works via the original hook from old versions.
Yes, but are you using DALAMUD. XIVLauncher works fine for me too, but Dalamud is currently not being injected for people that aren't doing the beta testing. If you launch the game with dalamud injection, it auto-crashes to desktop on launch. There is a conflict between this mod and Dalamud.
Edit 1: considering you have a plugin that you have created, you should reach out to the xivlauncher discord and talk to someone there about being included in the dalamud beta so that you can have early access to dalamud to be able to fix this issue. As it stands, it does not work with Dalamud but works fine with XIVLauncher without dalamud injection.
Edit 2: also, i have a 4090 and i too cannot get the UI to show up when hitting insert on beta or on standard, and I 100% made sure it was installed correctly 3 different times.

Nevermind it works if I have reshade installed.
