The quest icons that appear overhead the NPCs, icons on the maps, and other elements that aren't part of the HUD per se, are intended to be shown*. That's because the scope of the mod is limited to the HUD; this is not intended to be an overhaul of the whole UI.
    * The only exception is the “Local Map” and “Chocobo” on-screen help elements, that I tried to hide but couldn't. Maybe, in a future update of the mod, this line won't be necessary

    Great mod thanks!

Is it possible to remove the control prompts on the bottom right of the screen? Or is that just a tutorial/early game thing? Also can I remove part of the mod to re-enable the background chatter log? I play with the Japanese dub, so would be nice to keep that.

Thanks and sorry for the late response! For anyone else wanting to hide only some elements handled by this mod, check the Docs section of the page.

Excellent mod. Tried it, absolutely loved it. Now I can finally see through all the garbage and finally make the combat feel "cinematic".
    Cheers mate!!
  6. great work. how were you able to modify the .uib files?

I modified them via hex editing the file.

Would it be possible to hide the Results/Score screens or speed them up somehow?
Stuff like "Enemies bested!" that pause the game after every bunch of mobs

Yeah I really hate games that have a "battle report" after fights. It break the immersion and drives me nuts. Devs should either make it optional, or make it where it goes into a slow motion finisher and the rewards are shown in the top right(or somewhere off center) area with a simple fast reasonably sized list that keeps the current view and has a option to skip within 1second of triggering. I mean it really takes away from that "man that was an amazing fight"... Or if it was an option at the very end after cutscenes at least, or at the end/completion of the area you are in would also make it more tolerable.

Hi there! I've been using the numbers only version of this mod because i NEED to know when I'm about to kill a mob.. Otherwise the main version is perfect! Any chance of one more file that just brings back health bars ?? Cheers !

Download the full package and delete the "emnameplate" folder (more info on the Description and Docs tabs) before installing it with Reloaded (If you're using the manual installation version, there is no prevision to add another package variant).

    Brilliant Mod.
    Endorsed and Kudos Sent.
My main gripe with this game (Completed Already On PS5)
Was all the C**p on screen when in Battle.
    For me,It killed the "Realism".
Many Thanks for your great work. :-)

Hi, awesome mod, Is there any chance you could add ability to remove/hide battle performance in arcade mode/kairos gate/training room?

Thank you mate you have no idea how much me and my gf appreciate the work you put into this.
The only thing that bugged us about this amazing game was the damage numbers and combo text.
Now that they are gone this is truly a perfect game
