New optional file has 2 skill changes included!!! Keep in mind that's a working copy, please report any crashes with as much information, if they happen. USES LEVIATHAN EIKON FEAT SKILLS: TORRENT & STREAM. Looking for feedback.

It will change your language to English. Different localizations aren't ready yet.

If you have issues such as the mods not loading:

    • Ensure you have latest version of Nenkai's Mod Loader installed and enabled
    • For most 0007 based mods to work, game language must be set to be the same language as the regional format of the pc. I.e.: English language & Italian system will prevent mods from working correctly. Shoutout to mThund3R & Hito for helping with the troubleshooting!
    • It's possible if you have multiple mods that change 0007 files to conflict. You should be able to just merge the mods together.
    • This may not be fully compatible with the base version. This was made for Complete Edition. IE: DLC skills are included, such as Ultima's.

50% version below under optional downloads. Update that includes other languages will be coming out soon.

I just tried it again; it seems to be working on my end. Make sure to update the mod loader and try to use only this mod, just in case this mod conflicts with others.

Would it be possible to create a mod that increases the cooldowns of the skills by 1 minute? Thank you!

Guys, please read the description of the mods as you should with any. I see a lot of people asking questions in which the mod author already answered in the description. As with any mod before you install, look up requirements (if any), Change logs, and description. you wouldn't take medication without knowing what it does and its side effects would you? Help the authors help you lol.

My game was stuttering after installing this mod. so i ran some tests and it was the Nenkai's Reloaded II Mod Loader causing it. any fixes for this?

I had the same issue. I think you just use the mod loader to install mod, launch it to finalize mods, then exit the manager and start the game normal. I think the mod manager only has to run once to confirm the mods, but don't think you have to actually use it to play it like you would with Fallout mods.

Can confirm this mod does work.  I installed Reloaded II and was using the OP gear mod.  I downloaded and added mod to Reloaded to find it wasn't working.  Through some effort I did figure out how to get it to work.

What I had to do was go into the zip file (the file you download) for the Cooldowns mod, extract the command.nxd file from there and place it into the mod folder created by Reloaded for the OP Gear Mod.  Open Reloaded folder (called Release for me, I didn't change it) Inside will be a Mods folder.  In there will be your mods Reloaded has installed.  I had to go into OP Gear/FFXVI/data/0007/nxd and place the command.nxd file from Cooldowns there.

After putting the .nxd file there, I had to go to my actual Steam location on my PC.  Steam/steamapps/Common/Final Fantasy XVI/data inside here you will see a file created by Reloaded II 0007.diff.pac DELETE IT.    Open Reloaded go to FFXVI (make sure the mod is actually turned on.... yeah I did that) launch the game from Reloaded and your done.

For those that do not use OP Gear.  You may have to go into each of the mod folders (inside Reloaded location) and check to see if any of them have a 0007 folder and nxd folder if they do, you should just be able to add the cooldowns command.nxd file there.  Delete the 0007.diff.pac from your actual Steam location as before.  Launch the game again with Reloaded and it should work.

I hope this helps anyone.  It's what I had to do but the only mods I have installed are OP Gear, and Cooldowns.

You can put the extracted Reloader II folder anywhere you want really, mine is on my desktop for ease of access.  Once you have the extracted folder where you want it, open the folder locate Reloaded II.exe and run it.  It will open Reloaded II and there is a short tutorial on how to use Reloaded II.

Same for me, poor installation instructions by the modder (happens all the time).  I had to search online until I found out how to do this.  Sorry I can't remember exactly everything I did but there is a youtube video showing how to install Reload II.  Thats where I started but don't bother because this mod didn't work for me.  All the other mods I installed did.  Kinda says that this is a shitty mod.

I hope I'm not bothering you.

Is it possible to make the opposite of this mod? For cooldowns to last longer?  In a way we need to save the OP abilites for when an enemy is staggered and make normal combos a necessity to survive while the abilites are cooling down.

    Cheers!
