Currently only working for me with 1.0.2 of the mod loader. I will be contacting the dev of that today to figure out what broke on the later versions.
Working with 1.0.5, turns out I was missing a metadata file but the older version let it work anyway. Will likely update later to make sure it works on all versions of the loader.
Would it be possible to make a mod that allows assigning dedicated keyboard buttons to all the 3 eikon slots? Right now, it is only possible to cycle sequentially through the 3 Eikons that are currently equipped.
Having this mod enabled in reloaded-ii stops the game from booting past the initial image that appears. Just lags there forever, needing to be closed through steam. Edit; Nvm just took much much longer to load
I will never understand ppl who ask others to spend their time on creating mods for stuff that they themselves could achieve on their own without ever altering a single game file....
It's interesting how some people dismiss certain mod requests simply because it doesn't fit their idea of how a game should be played. The beauty of modding is that it allows us to customize the experience to make the game more enjoyable or challenging in ways that we prefer.Sure, I could manually limit myself, but where's the fun in that? The game enforcing a strict item limit adds an extra layer of strategy, making it feel like a real limitation rather than a self-imposed rule I can easily break. Modding exists so we can push boundaries and experiment, so why limit that creativity just because someone else's preferences are different?
It's not a matter of preference. Had you asked for even more restrictions removed from the game, I wouldn't have said anything. Instead you want more restrictions to do something that you can already do, without any mod. You want to restrict yourself to just 1 item? Simply immediately consume, remove, sell any consumable in excess in your inventory till you're left with only 1 of every type. No need to mod anything to achieve that.
I get where you're coming from, but it's not just about self-imposed rules; it's about altering the game mechanics to create a different kind of challenge. Sure, I could manually manage my inventory and restrict myself to 1 item, but that takes me out of the immersion and shifts the focus from gameplay to constant micromanagement. The reason I’m asking for the mod is to let the game enforce the rule, so it becomes a natural part of the experience, not something I have to manually enforce every few minutes.Modding isn’t just about removing restrictions—sometimes it’s about adding them to create new and more interesting ways to play. Just because I can technically do something on my own doesn’t mean it can’t be improved by modding. It's about enhancing the challenge in a way that feels organic to the gameplay, rather than something I have to consciously keep track of.
LOL asking people modding smthg you can restrict yourself and saying this is called a IMPROVED & INTERESTING CHALLENGE "I can technically do something on my own doesn’t mean it can’t be improved by modding" by saying this you're indeed weird af, modding are mostly used for people who want to have fun/balance while playing since some of the game is too hard, and you want to mod your game for a harder challenge while you can just limit yourself with 1 potion, it's like you can walk with barefoot without wearing shoes but instead you asked people to take off your shoes for you, LIKE WHATS WRONG WITH YOU?
Wow, you really are pressed about someone wanting more of a challenge in a game that’s laughably easy. If you think this game is difficult, then it's clear you’ve got a serious skills problem. Instead of projecting your own inability to handle difficulty onto others, maybe you should work on getting better at the game. Just because you're content with cruising through on baby mode doesn’t mean everyone else has to play that way.The fact that you’re comparing this to walking barefoot shows just how shallow your understanding is. Some of us actually want a challenge that the base game doesn’t offer, and guess what? Mods exist for exactly that kind of customization. If you can't wrap your head around the idea that people mod games for more difficulty, maybe you should just stick to whatever easy mode keeps you comfortable, and leave the real gameplay to people who can handle it.
"Base game doesn’t offer"while you can just offer yourself by limit to 1 potion, LMAO, who's the weirdo here, wtf are you talking about Also I don't need a baby mode, just sawing your comments are weird af so I am telling you you are the weirdo here, you want a challenge mode also doesn't mean people have to play like you, but you asking people to do a challenge mod while you can just limit yourself is weird At least this BABY MODE which you say are something people can't do for themself, some people got no skill and need many potion, so that's how this mod be done for those player MODDING DIFFICULTY for games will be like taking more damage, enemy stats more higher, that's the real thing this game can't go above, so there will be a mod for hardcore player as enemy's stats will mod for higher value What is this limit to 1 potion mod about? What is the point, you can just do this simple task by yourself
You’re honestly a joke, and the more you talk, the more you expose just how pathetic you really are. It’s almost amusing how desperately you’re clinging to this argument, thinking you’ve got something clever to say, when in reality, you're just embarrassing yourself with every word. You’re not smart, you’re not relevant, and you’re definitely not worth my time. It’s clear that you don’t have the mental capacity to keep up, so you’re desperately trying to compensate with weak insults and pointless arguments. Everyone can see right through you. You’ve got nothing. No skill, no point, and certainly no idea what you’re talking about. You’re just another loudmouth who thinks they’re saying something important when in reality, you’re as insignificant as they come. The fact that you're still here, trying to act tough, is honestly sad. You’ve lost, and the only person who doesn't see that is you. So go ahead, keep talking, you’re only proving my point. But I’m done wasting time on someone as irrelevant and clueless as you. Game over.
Loot appears to be a per-encounter table, where I'd have to figure out the gil column (still unlabeled) and increase it for each drop. If anything there may be a way to copy any increase to drop rates story-focused mode offers into the normal mode while keeping the other difficulty options, which I'm looking into first (along with maybe unlocking hard mode difficulty from the start in some form).
