It looks like we are out of luck with this, apparently not enough interest in the game....the games Denuvo removal was overshadowed by the FF7 Rebirth date simulator release, I guess everyone upgraded their pc for that game.
This game uses around 12,000 AVX2 & BMI instructions (most are dumb vzeroupper which can be noped out, the reset is shlx / shrx, andn, vpxor, vpcmpeq*, vpmovmskb, a few vbroadcastss), I didn't detect any F16C being used, all my attempts to patch ended in failure since I'm not great with ASM. (I did get it to pop up an error message rather than just crashing lol), I also asked several of the more experienced modders found on nexus that have created similar patches, and they have no interest in making a patch (without being paid which is understandable).
Hey guys,a month ago for 150 bucks i got a amd 5600x processor,16gb ram and a motherboard all second hand so it's possible, the game is pretty good and the upgrade will help with all the spidermans, alan wakes, god of wars and all that s#*!,not to mention all the upcoming games.
I stayed with my i3770 for 10 years ,i'm sorry to say this as i was in the same situation for that long too but it's time to let go. Stay safe my brothers
TBH I am not interested in any upcoming games, I don't care about FF7 rebirth, Spider-Man, oblivion remastered ...etc, god of war Ragnarök, Alan wake 2, TLOU2, already received avx2 removal patches, and some games were fixed by the devs like Control, Uncharted, Until Dawn, they all run perfectly at full speed.
FF16 is really the only game I am interested in playing, what sucks is some devs already made a working fix for ff16 and even for FF7 rebirth (the same person that did the alan wake 2 and gow Ragnarök fixes), but he won't release it for whatever reason.
runs terrible, falling bird intro like 0.5 fps, around 9-20 fps in game (depending on scene) on 970 gtx, sandybridge cpu, the cutscene movies play fine, I think if we had a proper avx2 patch it might get 20-30 fps, none of the in game options really do much, FSR3 + frame gen doesn't do much, (actually ran better using FSR1), optiscaler FSR injection works somewhat better, game uses around 16+ gb of ram, with cpu maxed at around 78% (all cores), GPU is 23%, so definitely a CPU bottleneck, I'm guessing emulating the avx2 is a bit much on an already cpu insensitive game..
Basically a lousy port even people with top of the line computers are having issues, without a proper avx2 fix it's not worth playing, unless you like a slideshow generator, I tried to make a patch but the game keeps catching my debugger :\

I pre-ordered this game since it had relatively low minimal requirements, just the avx2 junk is locking me out.

Could you manage your time to give us avx2 fix for ff16 also?
