This mod is awesome, the only thing I think it's ugly it's the font used for damage numbers... Any way of removing that and fall back on vanilla? Thanks.
First off, brilliant mod - really freshings the look and feel of the title and this combined with a few others has genuinely scratched the itch that Ever Crisis gave of a remake closer to the original.
Only issue I'm finding, is text boxes that scrolling the text during chats, often have the bottom lines cut in half - is there a setting or an adjustment that needs to be made in order to stop this? Seems like the boxes simply aren't big enough for scrolling text. Example here: https://imgur.com/a/gtWBUcw
Hello. I installed this mod via the 7th Heaven Mod Manager. I opened the Configure Mod window and I selected UI Theme> Color Scheme> Finishing Touch (option). When I started the game, I noticed that empty save files used the "Finishing Touch color scheme", but my current game save files do not use the color scheme. Is it possible to apply the Finishing Touch color scheme to a game that has already started?
the color themes only work on new games, the same way as the regular default colors... there's no way to automatically apply the colors, but i can give you the numbers to do it yourself...
Top left: R-00 G-88 B-176 Bottom left: R-00 G-63 B-80 Top right: R-00 G-92 B-128 Bottom right: R-00 G-00 B-32
As you can see in this image. Everytime I try to update Finishing Touch. I can't configure it because I have this message and I don't know how to correct it unless downloading an old one here :/
I have a Problem since the latest update, i think. My 7th heaven is ?2.9.9.71, both FXn and 7th heaven on canary build. i have couple of other mods installed, the ESUI, ESUI Controller addon, the field textures, ninomodels HD, Soundtrack mods, and so on.
The Finishing Touch background color of the menus works fine, IF i start a new game. but not when i load games. when i start a new game, play a bit, save that game. end ff7 and reload that same save, the menus are back to the deep blue of the basic ESUI. Avatars and battle ui seems to work normal. I also noticed that the Save Menu background is always deep blue, even when starting a new game! something is off.
Furthermore the random background work fine, and a re great. but if I choose the buster sword background, it comes out very pixelated.
Interesting. This is a new issue. Thanks for reporting. It definitely used to work.
In the meantime while i find a fix, I figured out on a new game, if you open the game menu and open the color changer and back out without actually changing anything before you save, then it works as intended.
If you need to manually put in the FT colors, then you just leave the default blue values and turn the green up to the following values: Top left green-88, Bottom left-63, Top right-92, Bottom right-00
And i'll fix the buster sword. I know what's up there.
I'm sorry if this is not the correct place for this. I just updated this mod through 7th Heaven, and I know that version is not on Nexus yet at the time of this posting. Since the update, I'm unable to launch the game with this mod active. I get this message in the launcher.
Looking for game disc ... Found game disc at H:\ ... Applying changed values to registry ... Copying ff7input.cfg to FF7 path ... using control configuration file FF7.cfg ... input cfg file not found at D:\Program Files\7th Heaven\Resources\Controls\FF7.cfg Creating Runtime Profile ... Unknown error when launching the game: Input string was not in a correct format.
I updated several other mods when I updated this one, but the game launches fine when I disable this one. Any help appreciated. All of these mods give this game a great update. Thank you.
I've been having the same error from the mod as well. I switch to 7H canary and nothing changed. Also, I am unable to configure because of an error. This is from downloading it from 7th Heaven.
Same deal here, finishing touch was working fine before the most recent update. Now I have the same issue above, it will not launch with the mod enabled, switching to the canary versions do not help for me either. Is this something we'll see updated or should I downgrade to a previous version of finishing touch?
