Everything seems to be working fine. I want to say that this is fantastic work. I immediately want to play through the whole game again despite having played it countless times already. Which makes me bit sad that no gameplay mods work with this, at least the ones I tried (hardcore, reasonable difficulty and new threat). But most of the tweak mods still work, so there's customization. Are there perhaps plans for compatibility in the future?
On a negative note and in my humblest of opinions, the music remixes are... Bad. I tried to give it a shot but everything from the start to Barret's theme was terrible and so I changed it back. I did like the victory fanfare and I'm sure there are more Good renditions. Apart from that, thank all of you for all the work. It's truly wonderful.
I've just recently tried to use this mod, I really liked it for the short time I used it but it's causing me to get random encounters with enamys that don't belong in that area, it completely screwed up the battles in cosmo canyan and also the nibelhem mansion befor I realised it was this mod causing the issue.
This project is amazing! I'm just escaping midgar right now and the voice work is perfect. It really adds so much immersion to the game. My only little problem is with the new rearranged battle music, specifically "Fight On", during the second half of the track it seems like the prelude harp track is spliced in over top of it and it gets incredibly chaotic lol. I still haven't figured out why.
Someone please help, I really want to play using the voice acting BUT I want to keep the original music. If I turn off the Echo S music from the configuration it just completely mutes the music in the game but I want the original music playing. How do I work around this?
EDIT: I found a solution. Anyway good job on the voices I'm digging this mod so far and made a dream come true of playing this with voice acting.
Been doing a replay after finishing Rebirth. It's been great to use this.
I did run into an issue with the Tifa date though. Some of the dialog paths don't work properly. Wondering if that was intentional or just being patched later.
