This mod isn't going to move the needle in any significant way given that these enhanced textures only effects Cloud, so worry not and download away.
The only time you need to consider performance is when the mod in question is overhauling many assets, but even then the performance decrease will be negligible that is so long as you don't exceed your GPU's vram allotment. At the very most you'll suffer from longer load-times or increased texture pop-in on slower drives.
Notso sure about that. It's not the vram thats the problem its the loading and stuttering when they come into view. Even with powerful CPU GPU and SSD. Its the game sadly, and 4k textures create some loading stuttering and also drop in FPS. Unfortunately.
dunno why but his clothes look likes made of cardboard =))) very low res, environment textures have same problem at many places.. in cutscenes it always happens =))) maybe my pc can't handle 4k textures
Chris rubino please update the mod, i found this bug using all together turtle neck, Holster and Shoulder pad remover, if put all together (updated files) i have this bug as you can see in the picture. If i remove one it gives all body problem, if i remove another it give middle body problem. Can't use all together. I had to remove all the three mods at the moment so i post it in all the three mods pages.
EDIT: Also note this has been tested with Cloud 4K Upscaled Textures mod from Romi969, dunno which one is incompatible with the other maybe, could you double check between both authors and maybe find where the problem is?
Is this your first time modding? You sincerely can't expect a mod like this, which upscales the texture of the entire model, be then compatible with another mod that adds or removes something into the model.
The mod description literally says:
Note: This is not compatible with any other Cloud texture mods except Hair and Eye changes
Please be more considerate with your way of thinking.
