It sucks that everytime I do the Golden Saucer it gives me Aerith instead of Tifa or that when I first arrive at the Golden Saucer it gives me Aerith and not Tifa
Hello, I'm new to this and was wondering if i could take a 100% save and redo a region's side quests to get all side quest achievement? I was so close initially before i upgraded my computer but when i copied my save i must not copied important info as i had chapter 7 saves (rather than chapter 12 saves) that were saved on Steam cloud saves.
Thanks for the mod, bro! Super useful for those of us who have already finished it on PS5. Got a question...
It seems there's some sort of god mode enabled in the save you provided. Is there a way to disable it? I tried going through the cheat engine I normaly use to revert it back to normal, but that hasn't worked. That makes sense since my cheat engine doesn't even alter some of the things that your god mode has (like granting ulimited MP or disabling the user's stagger from enemy hits). Can your provide a link to whatever cheat engine you used, or if you have a different fix can you provide that? Thanks.
Edit: Nevermind. There must have been some sort of bug with Barret in the first boss fight in chapter 8 because the one that came right after was normal.
Does anyone just have a safe file that's been fully completed on normal mode, all sidequests, hard mode unlocked, around 50, all weapons / all mini games completed but still with some materia to level up? Starting from level 70 all maxed with everything just feels...hollow and empty. I want to keep progressing from where I was on my PS5 without going through all of that again on PC.
why do people even want this? if you want hard mode, it is balanced for someone who actually knows the mechanics of the game so you are going to get your ass handed to you... it's better to just play the game on dynamic which will feel like hard mode the first time through and then play the actual hard mode with your own save. if it's because you played it on ps5 already... so did i but why did you buy it on pc if you don't even want to play it lol
that doesn't explain why you would purchase a game a second time just to not even play it lol. like you're gonna look at a finished saved file and then not play it because there is nothing to do
I got the platinum on PS5 already so I want to play from a point where I have everything completed, specifically gear/materia/folio unlocks. I bought the game on PC again so that I can install mods that let me play as Zack or Sephiroth and also with the full party of 7.
Why would I spend 100+ hours unlocking everything again instead of waiting for a save on Nexus so I can have everything I unlocked already and get to the stuff I want to do, which is play max level/gear/materia with a modded party?
All this to say that this is SE's fault for not supporting cross-save between PS5 and PC. Otherwise I'd be using my own save.
This type of save also helps with testing mods out on stuff you haven't unlocked yet. Definitely want to bring my Remake weapon mods to this game, but don't want to play, wait until I unlock stuff, go do the modding and restart. Can test out before officially starting a run.
Me personally I want to do a hard mode playthrough with the expanded party mod to play as seph and zack meaning I'd have to play the game over again to unlock the difficulty that i already did on PS5. there's many valid reasons people use save files and there's nothing wrong with that, same reason people use cheats nothing to judge about really
Are you kidding my softminded friend? Why are you puking on a "MODDING" site? That's like asking why are people eating pizza at a pizzeria. GTFO. I played the PS5 version and I refuse to go through some of asinine scenes again. Nope. I'd rather relive all the romances and squish a few mobs here and there for chuckles. More importantly see how well this game fairs on my liquid cooled 5090 machine hooked up to my Alienware OLED monitor w/ 6 pc surround sound.
You are softminded as the files do end up in the ~mods folder. Same difference, yes? Every moment is a teachable one though even for someone suffering from ADHD or Asperger's Syndrome like you. Here are some reason why someone would want to replay a game from a collection of saved files.
1. Discover New Content: Perhaps the play desires to uncover hidden secrets, alternate endings, and explore areas or storylines missed during the first playthrough.
2. Improve Skills: Players will want to replay that one really tough boss and hone gameplay techniques, master strategies, and challenge oneself to achieve better scores or higher difficulty levels.
3. Simple Nostalgia: Some people desire to relive memorable experiences, reconnect with beloved characters, and enjoy the familiar world of a favorite game without having to put in 300 hours to achieve the same.
4. Testing: Some players, especially trophy achievers will want to replay a quest, or mission to perfection to achieve the trophy and attain the subsequent recognition and or intangible prized that come with a flawless execution.
5. Bandwidth: Some people have a life in real-time (employed, parents, military) rather skip to that one favorite part of the game that truly brought them joy and excitement as opposed to time-sink many hours into the game again.
6. Affordability and Availability: Some players rather cut to the chase because simply they can. They work 40 hour weeks and treat games like a magazine at a train-station. Read quickly, throw away. Guess what? That is fine, it's their money, time and experience. You have little to no say over it.
That said, rather than judge and belittle people for their choices of game play, stop and consider your audience. Otherwise, as I implied before - if you have nothing to really contribute, then STFU and let people enjoy the game as they see fit.
This here is a godsend. You have done this forum a world of good with this invaluable contribution. Thank you! Question: which of the 3 files gives you the Tifa Ferris wheel date on replay. Tried one of them and I think it defaults to Aerith, which I got on my PS5 run through.

Thanks in advance.

now for testing stuff that actually makes sense, didn't consider that. the rest though just seems like adhd issues
