Damn, that's unfortunate to hear but I understand your reasoning and respect it. I'm glad you at least put out a handful of mods for Rebirth that really helped me enjoy and get my money's worth out of Remake, because although the combat system is great, there are a few nuances that really kill the experience for me and your mods "fix" them.
If you're curious, the big one is faster ATB for inactive party members, but there are certainly a few others that helped with completing 100% of the game. Sure, some might call it cheating -- I call it getting everything out of a game that I might have shelved much earlier due to a few core complaints.
So again, kudos and thank you for your work. I hope Nexus will stop pushing away mod authors... after all, without them, their revenue would be zero.
I emphasize “For the moment” what I mean is that my releases will be made from month to month and very few so that the new system does not penalize me as if I were someone who abuses the reward system for sharing many mods, as far as a change of direction by Nex0s is concerned that will be impossible the machinery is already in place the owner of this told us the following:
Posted October 3, 2024 I think a lot of the confusion stems from the fact some of you believe we're looking for actual feedback on the algorithm. Frankly, I don't feel I need to explain how money is spent at Nexus Mods to anyone. You might think I should, but I definitely don't and I won't. If you aren't comfortable with us controlling how we distribute the money this site earns, if you have "trust" issues with us, then I don't recommend using Nexus Mods. I wish you all the best wherever you end up or whatever you end up doing.
Would you be open to a mod request if I offered you a few dollars? As I progress in the game and especially if I consider playing through on hard mode, I'm going to want a cheat item, but I don't want it to be ridiculously overpowered, something akin to this (I used two of the "weakest" variants, +50 luck/defense and +150 all stats). So far I haven't seen anything like it for Rebirth.
Y'know... as I write this, I feel like I can and should make this for myself, but I certainly wouldn't say no to a few pointers/guides. Would altering an accessory's stats be pretty easy in the long run? I feel like it should be.
Thumbs up for this mod man, helped me a lot on certain fights, thanks! PS: (is it possible for you to create a stagger duration X3, or X4? Just wondering, if no, it's okay, thanks anyway)
For the moment I will not share more mods, Nex0s has now a policy that reduces the rewards if you offer many mods for interact with the same group of users and that makes that the value of these rewards for all your mods is reduced to 0.
Donation Points - How they work
The system no longer works off of Unique Downloads (UDL) over all time but instead on interactions that occur over a month.
The system has a diminishing returns aspect to it. After a certain number of interactions from the same user across all your mods, the value of these interactions drops drastically. It can and does drop to 0.
We reward authors for posting a variety of content that appeals to lots of different users. Consider diversifying the type of mods you make, or branching out into modding a different game that interests you.
I thought the same thing too, until someone told me that they earn from the advertising generated by user visits to the pages, so fewer mods and fewer pages = fewer visits and less money.
I have also noticed that since the new reward system was implemented the graphics that they provide in Payouts by game are very specific and very revealing.
I love the stagger rate part of this mod, thank you for making this! Would it be possible for you to make a variant with something like 1.2x or 1.5x stagger rate? 2x is a bit big.
Hey there! Thanks again for this mod. I'm curious, does this mod conflict with anything currently out right now? I can't tell if it's working actually right now cuz my mod list is increasing. Do you know if it conflicts with any mods?
I found the conflict. It was the other HP mod that someone else made. For some reason, instead of it modifying the file you used for your HP mod, it modifies the same one as the the Stagger effect. Interesting. I guess I'll just not use that for now.
I use your other mods and Lvl Up Life makes staggers much more frequent. I would prefer to have staggers less frequent but more impactful with x2 duration but only x1/2 as frequent.
I understand, But now with the new Nex0s algorithm that reduces to 0 the rewards after sharing a few mods, as you understand I will not lose hours of life in creating and uploading a mod that I will not use to reduce more rewards, the new policy of Nex0s, is that if you are an author who shares many mods you may be abusing the reward system, so you have to share few and I have spent wanting to share the ones I already had in Remake.
So now I can use Infinity End multiple times during stagger? Sounds too op. Infinity End does 9999 damage if done correctly, even at lower levels. I like mods that make the game harder. Is it possible to make one that halves the duration of stagger?
For the moment it will not be possible to make this mod because of the lack of tools, the Buff values are now shared by the Debuff values and if I extend the time of one I do it for the other, it is a real nuisance and this is repeated in many of the mods that I can not recreate from Ramake.

Would love x1/2 or even 1/4 stagger rate
