Totally normal! You downloaded the "Addon Bilingual Yuffie – Dualsubtitles Only," which keeps only dual subtitles and removes the rest. Just delete the Bilingual_Yuffie-addon_jpdualsubtitlesonly_P files, and you’re good to go.

If at all possible, may i suggest dropping a 'quick' patch to switch the battle voices back to English? Just for the people who want it, and to hold the rest of us(me) over that find it distracting whenever Yuffie gets all happy about getting knocked out in combat?

Outside a few moments I wish was in English (or whatever language u have picked) this mod is imo the quintessential Yuffie mod and should be implemented into Yuffie in the next chapter

Would it be possible to make a mod for just Barret, have a friend i'm playing the game with and he hates Barret in Japanese, so if there was a mod so in Jp dub that kept only him in english that would be perfect

I recommend creating a Python script edit all the .wav files you want, otherwise it will be very time-consuming. ChatGPT or any other LLM can help you create (and explain all you need) this kind of script if you're not familiar with Python.
You will find Barret's voice files here: End/Content/Sound/Voice/US (or JP) with the name ****_blt.uasset.
I decided to give it a try to make a voice mod myself but got stuck unable to repack the modified wav files back into the an uassset/pak file. I tried Unreal Engine cooking but they would cook the wavs individually instead of the whole folder (eg. VO_SU2060_00_Gilgamesh_Standard). And I tried UnrealReZen to repack but was losing my mind trying to make it work.
I think I got the proper folder structure, but I keep running into the "Cannot find file xxx.wav in archives" error message, no matter what. Could you give us a brief rundown on how you used UnrealReZen to repack the modified wav files?
You cannot repack files that did not originally exist. You need to reconvert WAV files into UASSET files with audiomog. Check the tutorials on "Open FF7R" Discord for precise instructions on how to do this.
