love this mod compare to https://www.nexusmods.com/finalfantasy7rebirth/mods/97 but 1 thing about the mod that i link is that i can choose which party leader i want, hopefully you can update this mod so we can change who the party leader is. anyway awesome mod
I want to use a mod to basically eliminate the 'back row' and have every character currently in the party be 'active' in combat.
So when I have Cloud, Tifa, Barret, Aerith and RedXIII in the party, I want - when I enter combat - to be able to switch through all five of them, not just 3 out of 5.
My problem is that when the story dictates that some party members leave because the team splits in two for story purposes (like when Cloud, Barret, Cait Sith and Red go to the Gongaga reactor and Tifa, Aerith and Yuffie stay behind), I want the girls to be removed from the party as the story dictates - and then have Cloud, Barret, Cait Sit and Red be available to switch during combat - not having one of them in the 'back row'), WITHOUT having to access a mod menu and hurt my immersion.
This is possible, even if one is leaving Main Party due to Story u can just use the programm again and put them in the main battle Party, u just cant put more then 3 if the story forces u to stay with certain characters. This was all already possible with cheat Engine and the correct cheat table anyway. There are just situations where u cant do such things because of the story and other things. There was for example this funny Situation in chapter 7, where we had to climb the mountain and yuffie tifa and barret went ahead because of yuffie and i was only able to Play with cloud, aerith and red. Then when i had to fight the boss custom valkyrie, i was able to Switch to yuffie, tifa and Barett but they where outside of the Main Battle, cus it was closed off due to a door, but i used a synergy ability with one outside and inside and Boom they were inside so i was able fight with them all haha. But use the synergie ability on the char thats inside.
You can edit PartyEntry to achieve this most likely. For those sections with set party members you can go to the status array and edit them at those various points of the story to keep them active at all times. No telling how it might break stuff though. Shouldn't if you keep it story friendly (like you said with Cloud, Cait, Barret and Red for example).
GUEST status might mean "spawned but not in party" iirc remake used it like that bc i remember barret and aerith being "guests" during all of chapter 2
I dragged and dropped your mod into FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH\End\Content\Paks\~mods but it isn't showing up in bpmods in the console is this how you install your mod?
If you've installed UE4SS, that should generate a "LogicMods" folder alongside the "~Mods" folder. Blueprint mods such as this need to go in the Logic Mods folder for UE4SS to load them
so I'm relatively new to modding but I want to try and take Rufus' move set and put it onto Vincent and make him an active party member or at the very least put his outfit over Cloud are tools available to make something like that possible or is it too early?

Is such a thing feasible?
with this however? unfortunately no. This only has a fairly simple debugging level implementation. a proof of concept, more than anything.
this can achieve full party combat, but would require the debugging mod menu to achieve it.
