The game already has Playstation buttons integrated to it, just disable the steam input and the xbox button will be changed to Playstation button.

When using DS4Windows ( https://github.com/Ryochan7/DS4Windows ), my experience has been that it works by "fooling" Windows into believing that the PS4 controller is actually an Xbox controller, so all buttons end up showing up as Xbox buttons.  So I always like to force overwrite the Xbox buttons with the corresponding PS4 buttons.

You can change it to Playstation 5 controller buttons in game by press R3 in controller settings to choose either "Letters" which is Xbox or "Symbols" which is PS5. This was also mentioned in one of comment replies in this thread.

Man thanks for this. I was having a lot of trouble with the parade using ABXY. Switched it in the settings and obliterated it first try.

Still XBONE buttons on the Junon Parade, fyi. Guess those textures are stored elsewhere?

I'm using it, but in the junon parade minigame, the XBOX button HUD remains

This mod isnt needed at all? Not only does it detect your controller (I use a DualSense using steam), but even if somehow this doesnt work, in the controller settings you can press R3 to choose between xbox or PS symbols

while true, you can choose button style in settings - buttons you choose are black and white.
this mod provides colored ones at least and I often found that color-coded buttons sometimes are easier to read in certain fast paced situations. and rebirth is mini-game galore.

idk how it works with parade mini-game (similar controls to dance mini-game in remake) though. I haven't played remake on PC, only PS.

The game indeed support the DS4 by default, unless you have the game on Epic (Another reason to avoid Epic), and the buttons are colored in the menu and everywhere.

Sorry to ask/beg here but would it be possible that you also make a Switch buttons mod ? Like the one for Remake.

I tried to make it myself but I never modded before and it all sound way too complicated for me lmao

What's the difference between this mode and your other Force PS4 Dualshock buttons mod?

    Also, how to install? :)

Sorry about that.  They are exactly the same.  Nexusmods crashed while I was uploading the other mod and I thought it got lost, so I re-uploaded it with a new name (nexusmods didn't let me use the original name).  Then I noticed that they both got uploaded.

To install, unzip the 3 files (utoc, ucas, and pak) and put those 3 files into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH\End\Content\Paks
