About this mod
A mod offering an alternative to the Main Menu backgrounds, with new designs based on older FNaF Games, having the characters being the main focus, and featuring some static and VHS-style effects. Additionally includes a few optional files that allow you to replace the Main Menu's ambience with some unused Security Breach OST.

I was never a big fan of the Main Menu in general, always finding it too simple and unrefined, but one of my least favorite decisions was to feature locations of the game in the background instead of the characters like most previous FNaF Games do. Luckily for all of us, Steel Wool made it incredibly easy to switch out a game's video files if wanted. With the usage of Source Filmmaker to import in-game animations onto the models and light them, combined with some effect editing in Adobe After Effects, I created a collection of videos to replace the title screens with something more interesting.
Each hour's character selection is based on the events of the hour in question, retaining the ability to know what section of the game you're in, while also providing a fresh substitute to the basic slightly-shifting backgrounds of previous. I had a massive amount of fun making these, and I hope you enjoy using them. Also featured are optional music replacers, which will replace the Main Menu's music with different OST, usually ones that went unused on the Security Breach Soundtrack.
New in v2.0: The background video for Ruin's Menu has been replaced, and a new pak file has been introduced to the main file. This pak file replaces the gradient backdrop, which was introduced in the update preceding Ruin's release, with a new version stylized after the modifications made to the Inventory and Options UIs in that same update. Another music replacer was also introduced, for those who want a deviation from the Venta Black standard.

It is recommended that you back up the original MP4 Files included with Security Breach. To do this, either copy them into another folder somewhere else on your computer, or add an arbitrary extension to them like .bak or similar. These are located within the Movies folder, which can be found in ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Quarters\fnaf9\Content\Movies. If this step is skipped, the original MP4 files can be re-obtained by verifying game integrity, which will cause Steam to re-download them.
To install this mod, drag both folders provided into the Content Folder, which is located at ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Quarters\fnaf9\Content. This should result in each of the Hour_#_Menu.mp4 files and DLC_Menu being placed into the Movies folder, while AlternateMainMenu_p.pak is dropped in the Paks folder. To install the optional music replacers, similarly drag the chosen .pak file into the game's Paks folder, which can be found at ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Quarters\fnaf9\Content\Paks. Only install one music replacer at a time, as they replace the same audio files, and only one of them will end up working.
