Regarding the white beards showing on the Clean Shaven version. I think the best option is to download the 'no beard mesh' mod by MRmanjung1999 - https://www.nexusmods.com/ghostoftsushima/mods/168
any chance you might be willing to give this treatment to other characters in the game like Yuna for a suggestion. I'd love to use this mod but everyone else in the game looks like the hit every branch on the way down when they fell out of the ugly tree. So it kinda breaks emersion a bit when I'm walking around like a the only pretty person on the entire island lol. Thanks for your works regardless here's me hoping you bless us with a Yuna mod
I dont particuarly feel like i agree with you calling the mod ugly because it feels lie an insult more than valid criticism but i do agree that this mod author failed to revamp in a very serious way that has racist undertones and plays with the racist stereotype that all Asian people look the same
This mod just makes Jin look like a generic Asian person and removes any Japanese facial features which feels borderline racist to me because they are removing Japanese facial features for some something generic
this mod author needs to learn that NOT EVERY ASIAN PERSON LOOKS THE SAME and that assumption that every Asian person looks the same has racist undertones because of the stereotyping
i feel like this mod is fetishizing Asian peoples looks and not at all being authentic in trying to revamp jin unlike "Fuse00"'s revamp which is actually authentic and retains Jin's Japanese facial features while revamping it
I will not support a mod that has racist undertones and will absolutely call it out whenever i see it

"Decided to remaster Jins skin texture to my liking"
In what way does that come across as what you're suggesting? Sure, if he said something along the lines of: "Turning Jin's Japanese features into a more sophisticated Asian sheek", I'd completely understand your outrage. But he didn't. He simply changed multiple things around Jin's appearance that made Jin look more appealing to him.
I also don't even want to get started on the fact you say "generic Asian person" then go on to highlight that "NOT EVERY ASIAN PERSON LOOKS THE SAME", have some consistency. Like, there's either generic Asians or they look different..
Also, "racism", really? Racism is discriminating based on a person's race. So you're saying his revamped skin retexture changes Jin's distinctly Japanese features into what you believe looks like a more generic Asian man's? And that's why you think it's racist? How does that work?
