Saw y'alls commentary, genuinely thank you! To address some of them in one go:
If you're game is crashing with no error reports and you have more than ten mods then try lowering the amount of mods you use, i've found my game starts randomly crashing when I use around 17-20 mods. --
I wish I could make it upgradeable but at the moment we don't have that type of modding utilities. (if something that can do that comes out im sure myself and lette will absolutely work on that!) --
There is an optional file that can remove the fur, unfortunately the actual fur jacket itself is tied to the shoulderpads so if you get rid of one you get rid of the other. --
Once I can change the colour of the ropes I absolutely will, for now we (as a modding community) have yet to figure out what textures the ropes belong to. --
Like with upgrades we do not have any modding utilities that allow us to replace/transmog armor sets or weapons yet. --
Myself and Lette are planning on doing Sarugami re-textures next, we plan to do a Sakai, Shimura, Adachi, and lastly, Yarikawa themed re-textures for the Sarugami set. --
Finally, I also plan to try and make sword re-textures for each sword in game so that the Sakai symbol and similar colours go unilaterally over them so we can still represent the Sakai Clan regardless of what sword we prefer :)
Very cool dark tone of the armor and helmet mate, but if you could alternatively make the rope behind the helmet dark (or delete it), I tell you such a set would be priceless! With the most sincere wishes of good bro!
Yeah, it's a weird one for sure, just tried the Black Ronin Suit Dark by viniciusmendonca and the same happens with that too. So that's three armor retexture mods that I have tried where it is happening. I am using the latest version of the game, so I am not sure really what is causing it.
So I think I have found a way to fix the issue (which seems to be caused when you have too many separate mod psarc files added the game). Unpack all of your separate mods using the GoTExtractor tool, and then repack them all as one single psarc (keep in mind bitmaps need to be one single psarc, and meshes its own separate one as well, same will go for audio and misc). I know this might be a bit tedious, but it is better than the alternative. I need to test it some more, but so far it works fine.
Why thank you! I am glad it works, as there are so many great mods being released for this game, yours included. Hopefully word gets around that this can be used as a solution.
