Beside subjective of personal taste/preference, I knew that so many type and models of Monitors/TVs out there. LCD/LED/OLED/QLED ; IPS/TN/VA... etc. And they have their own characteristic (from neutral colors to vibrant colors, high to low gamma/black levels/white point, etc).
Therefore I made a simple adjustment UI for this mod. You can adjust Dark Level, Light Intensity, Color Saturation, etc.by press END keyboard button to show-up Reshade UI. Adjust the value to matching with your current screen (Monitor/TV) profile or fit with your taste/liking.
Keep in mind this is a custom shader, not just a regular Reshade preset. With this custom shader You can create your own various presets based on this custom shader (by press "+" (plus symbol) button on the top right corner from UI).
The 3D Stereoscopic mode optimized for LG 3D Cinema Screen (e.g LG OLED 65E6P, passive 3D screen; top-bottom), for other 3D screen(e.g Sony and Samsung ~ active shutter 3D screen) you may change 3D stereoscopic format mode from top-bottom to side by side (SBS) from this UI to get better 3D Depth perception.
ps. I'm no longer supporting virtual 3D screen based on VR apps (Virtual Desktop, Oculus Theater mode, Big Screen, etc.), this mod was only for native 3D screen only. Since now there are so many VR HMD in market with their own FOV, and each user has their own IPD value for their eyes in VR. So difficult to estimated the ideal value for it to avoid "cross talks" effects aka. ghosting. Also, the newer games already demand very high of GPU resource, if you're using virtual 3D screen (with VR HMD) then the "super-sampling" from your VR (SteamVR and Oculus-Home) already taken a huge GPU resource and would make bad impact to game performance.
Warning for some certain HDR screen mode: - Ghost of Tsushima has a bug in HDR mode in some certain system. if you prefer running it in HDR mode please DO NOT set "Window Mode" to "Exclusive Full Screen" mode. It can cause blinking screen for some certain HDR screen. If this problem occurred in your system, then use "Full Screen" only, if you want to run in native HDR mode.
How to get Realistic (Darker) Night : - Open UI (press END button) then you can increase "Dark Level" slightly, and also decrease "Light Intensity" slightly too.
Mod is good overall but... I have problem with Del On - its transparent square bigger than UI of Reshade WIndows (and it appears and dissapers randomly) (top left corner)(dont have screenshot forgot to did it, but u can imagine and may be suggest smth?) Also i used manual mode to adjust on my preference - did the colour to look the same like original, but problem is rooks more gray than white like in original 1 picture OFF. - Lighter Rocks
2nd ON. - Darker Rocks
Also sky and light. Sunrise\Sunset. Open pictures in new tab to see bigger difference. OFF. - look pink sky and pink water light - original
ON. - more yellow sky and yellow water light esp on corners.
I didnt like it...try to manualy udjust but failure....
Just one thing if you could help. The Preset removes the green tint which is good. But in foggy sunshiny areas, it takes the charm of it for me. because it turns to a more blueish-white color "probably had nothing to do with green tint" Even the yellowish sunshiny areas turn more white Perhaps that's the magic in this preset!
I've been editing a lot of the values like Defog, fog color, and a lot others etc but nothing gets it as the original or let me say tint back the strong white color
Could you point out what is responsible for that in the fx file? Thank you
It works fine with HDR here, also on my local friends PC. Currently, beside playing in SDR mode with my monitor, I’m also playing it in HDR mode with my TV on my living room. ;)
I see.... that's weird, since I don't have that issue in my rigs here. I also double checked it with my friends here, they said they didn't face that issue too.
Is that weird rectangles show-up only with HDR mode or also in SDR (non-HDR) mode? Can you mention what is your Monitor/TV model/type, please?
Did you read the sticky post above? or the previous comment below? Just slightly turn-down the dark level value slightly to match you screen/monitor profile via UI (somewhere between 0.020 to 0.040 from its default value (0.067)).
Makes the game look almost exactly the way I want it to look. Just had to tone down dark levels a bit to properly see inside buildings. Otherwise realy good job.
Thank you, mate! :) Yupe, your display may has higher quality (where's black is truly black ~ better local dimming) than mine. Therefore the default dark levels value may too dark in your screen. Anyway, I'm glad you like it.
Thanks for this mod! I'm pretty sure this is what I used in dragon's dogma. Or at the very least the installation process was the same.
In that game there was some other mod that used Delete and when I load in, their mod script.lua was not launching giving hotkeys error or something. Is it easy to change the key for this mod to another keyind instead of delete? Sorry I don't use normal reshade so I don't know.
You can change my default hotkey via UI. Press END key. Then inside UI choose “Settings” tab. Highlight the hotkey then change the current hotkey with whatever you prefer.

Better lighting effects, but it has higher number of shader passes. May NOT suitable to mid-end and low-end GPU.
Stay tuned! :)

And also it lowers fps its correct?
Feel like it has been awhile just for a reshade.

I'm glad you like it :)

I'm sorry for being so late to respond your post, since I was away from home :)
