GHOST OF TSUSHIMA - CLEAN LIGHT
is a shader I made for myself with home-made code acting as a "mini-ENB"  to target very specific changes:

Cleaner tonemapping (LOG untonemap + John Hable) with lossless contrast - no black crush - no blown-out white

Equalized colors & muddy shades dynamically removed - strong and clean colors but not oversaturated or with broken harmonies

Improved lighting with more detailed shadows - enhanced textures in foreground - colors and details scaterring in the background

Reworked skies, fog and foregrounds with more pronounced landmass / Skies ratio, improving the depth, visual clarity and immersion in the world

SSGI: Screen Space Global Illumination & Image Based Lighting to add more details into close lighting and to blend the shades together

Day and Night settings toggeable with a simple key press, with Purkinje shift for low light conditions & dark shades. See shortcut below.

Optimized for gameplay - Nothing paywalled - Free for All !

INSTALLATION:
I play with all options maxed out, DLSS quality, default brightness 50% and default color settings.

Simply extract the content of the download into where your GhostOfTsushima.exe is located
Delete dxgi.dll, ReShade.ini and the CLEANLIGHT folder to uninstall

Expect a performance hit depending of your hardware and graphic configuration

SHORTCUTS:
INSERT: TOGGLE NIGHT TIME SETTINGS: A little icon will show in the lower left corner of the screen when enabled.
Using night settings for night time is higly recommended but not mandatory, and you can also use it during daytime if you prefer the look of it.
Whatever you like the most is best.

END :
toggle reshade UI
SCROLL LOCK :  toggle all effects
PRINTSCREEN :  take a screenshot in png, located into your Red Dead Redemption main folder.

Depth of Field is preset and ready to use but disabled by default.
To enable it simply open the menu with End key,  unroll the Lens category and click the Depth of Field checkbox.
Toggle it using HOME key.

F.A.Q:
Q: What are the performance ?
A:
I can only answer for myself as it depends of the system you are running, your resolution and game's option.
Clean Light costs me around 5-7 FPS depending of the situation on a I5-13600k, 32Gb-DDR5 6000Mhz & 4070Ti at 1440p all graphics options maxed out.
My game is locked on 60fps Vsync and stays that way.

Q: How can I have better performances without too much visual loss ?

A: Open the interface with End key, unroll ENVIRONMENT tab and uncheck the SCREEN SPACE GLOBAL ILLUMINATION box.
If not enough then unroll the LENS tab and uncheck the ENABLE LENS checkbox.

Q: There is weird strips in characters hairs and horses sometimes
A: This are artefacts from the SSGI shader, so far I haven't come with a proper solution to denoise this kind of meshes/game's shaders.
Either disable SSGI as explained above or just don't pay attention like I do.

Q: Can I use Clean Light along with No HUD mod ?
A: Yes, simply overwrite No HUD files with Clean Light files if you already have No HUD mod installed, or install ONLY ShaderToggler.addon64 and ShaderToggler.ini if you want to install No HUD mod on top of Clean Light.Do not touch to reshade.ini and dxgi.dll.

That's it !
