This preset is certainly gorgeous but I think something is off with how it scales with resolution or something. On a 4090 with clean light all options enabled @4k DLSS quality maxed out (without clean light and reshade on runs 170fps+) it runs around 70fps and even if all options - LENS, ENVIRONMENT, QUALITY, POST PROCESSING are turned off it goes 100 fps. So basically it costs 40% of fps just to have the preset enabled but with all the options turned off. Which is baffling.
Do you use the dll provided with the download ? If so can you tell me what are your graphics options for the game regarding dlss, AA and such so I can try to replicate your issue ?
When I run the game with this installed I get strange flickering constantly on the screen, also how do you remap the night mode and DOF toggle to a different key? I do not have the insert and home keys on my board.
thanks, looking forward to using your preset once I can get it working, looks good
Its kinda hard to describe, it almost looks like a graphical glitch, horizontal lines running through the screen and a lot of flickering going on. The reshade ui also freaks out in the same way. The colors are also weird and definitely not intended.
Just for reference I have all the settings cranked, running the game in native 4k HDR with DLAA with no upscaling or frame gen.
It's late here now so I'm fixing to crash, but I'll try to get a video tomorrow. The only mod I'm using is the upscaled cutscenes one and I've deleted the splash screen video for fast startups.
Page down for the night mode and F11 for the dof would be great.
Well for some reason or another the graphical glitches I was experiencing last night are gone now, I didn't really change anything so that is kinda weird... but yeah all good now.
The preset looks really good, definitely nice to get rid of that blue tint and make everything more real looking under different lighting conditions.
The only problem is that this preset hits my system really hard for some reason... In some cases I'm seeing anywhere from 15-25 fps drops, even enabling DLSS doesn't really help much and I've noticed frame gen just straight up freaks out when using this, it flickers and has heavy ghosting. Is this normal performance from your experience?
Frame gen usually doesn't like ReShade at all, and depending of games sometimes DLSS can also create oddities. Regarding performances it's so different for everyone that I can never say what's normal what's not.
On my end I play everything maxed out with DLSS quality in 1440, vsync at 60 because I don't need more, the presets costs me around 5-7 fps most of the time, sometime a bit more like around 10 fps, but I don't feel it since my game never goes down 60fps. I have win11, i5 13600k, 32gb DDR5 6000mhz, 4070ti and latest nvidia drivers (my whole system is up to date besides my MB), game is installed on my main NVME.
Check the FAQ to have better performances if you really want some.
I really push ReShade hard, much harder than pretty much everyone who just use the common effects "untill it looks good" and that are simple color corrections, I make my own shaders/effects for very specific goals and I try stuff ReShade isn't really made for. Like I said it inspired from ENBs but with all the limitations of ReShade. If you check my shader in the UI you'll see that a lot of the settings are depth based, I have layers and masks for tons of things just like in photoshop so I can have total control of creation/corrections.
Actually it doesn't need any patch or anything at all, simply install the No Hud mod, then overwrite with my files. It works fine. Or the reverse, install Clean Light, and then just drag and drop only ShaderToggler.addon64 and ShaderToggler.ini from the hud mod. I have updated the FAQ.
Add the shaders in the cleanlight/shaders folder, the textures into the texture folder. Have a look at my shader first maybe, what you want to add is maybe already there.

What shortcuts would like me to add for your mini keyboard ?
