I am using Titan Army P275MV with HDR1000 (with windows HDR calibration result 0 - 1080 - 1120), and I found this mod helpful. This is a FastIPS MiniLED monitor with 576 Local Dimming. But in GOTDC, I can't see things in houses, even when it is day time. Increase game brightness somewhat helps, but not enough, and other things got a little bit brighter too. With this mod, I can definitely see things in the dark and in houses. But the map page really goes way too bright under HDR1000, and day time also got maybe too bright. Adjust in game brightness and UI brightness can not reduce the brightness of map page. But this mod gives me a idea that I can adjust Reshade. I searched for how to adjust brightness in Resahde, and found a thing called EyeAdaption.fx and it's already part of the standard repository under "brussells". And this thing really helps with HDR1000- with only EyeAdaption on and everything else off, and in game brightness set to 60, everything in the dark is visble, the day time not too bright, and map page is good. I think this mod is really helpful, just maybe not so good for HDR 1000. If I did not find this mod, I would still be blind in the dark.
Thank you so much! I never get nausea playing any game but the default setting in this game gives me eye strain. It's either too dark or eye piercingly bright.
What a difference! Felt it immediately. Game is so much better now. Thanks again!
i'm a bit confused, how exactly do I use this mod? i installed reshade and put the ghost of tshushima in the game thing, then for the rendering API option it asked me I put direct x 10/11/12 (I think that's the correct answer), then I uncheck all presets and load that file .ini file into the reshade, but I'm unsure if its actually working!
Thank you for this reshade file! It vastly improved my overall experience with this game.
I downloaded the "No Dark with Eye Adaptation and Eye Comfort" version. I didn't always want eye comfort on because it makes some of the colors look very warm. I suggest you bind the "Tint" effect to a toggle key in the reshade menus. That way you can turn it on and off when needed. It is a nice touch if my eyes feel a bit strained from the color overload in this game.
Do you know why my game compiles shaders everytime i start the game after i installed this? BTW, awesome job, the game improves A LOT with this, thank you so much.
