do you think its possible to take the ak12 magazine and add it to the ak47 tactical (Alpha) and ak47 shorty. im trying to learn how to use anvil tool myself so i dont have to bug for mods. it would be nice to be able to use the t1 and t1 and g33 on more guns. similar to the 416 assault mod or better yet the LPVO on AR's
Let me know when you do and if you need some $ for your work. Also is it possible to make the mk18 hand guard olive gray brown like the actual RIS 2? I’ll endorse and become a supporter if you would like to make money and can show me how this is done. I can’t seem to find any documentation.
I’m a firm believer that people should be paid for good work. To those who enjoy these mods donate what you can to help these modders out. It encourages great work and more mods. It benefits us in the long run.
so i tried searching for the correct magazine file under the ak12 however it lists like 6 different magazines. i see the short magazines then theres like 3 normal magazine files. i was going to try cutting the magazine file and pasting it to the ak47 assault file but im just not sure which is which.
About mags. If I remember correct, 30 round 5.45 mag called extended. 20 round - short, 50 round - drum. For model swapping you are need to edit hex code of files, not copy/paste. Here you can find how to do that.
Thank you for the info. I will start reading and learning tonight that was really helpful. I hope to see your ak47 magazine swap soon. It’s my favorite weapon. I know it’s not possible, but it would be badass if we could edit optic placement and add the t1 to the ak47 assault handguard or just be able to use the aces LPVO on it and other ASR’s
the two sides of the ris (right and left) are free since the peq15 and the grip are placed on the upper and lower rails, so what I meant was if it was possible to cover the slots on the right and on the left with rail covers
This can already be done in game however if you have a peq and a forward grip, there’s no more usable slots to add the rail covers. I understand it would look cool to have covers on the sides along with a peq and a forward grip but I’m not sure you could do that at the same time.
Is there currently any way to change laser colors and visibility? I'd like to make every laser as visible as the MWAL-DA for all of us No Hud users. I'm also trying to find the files for Health and Weapons Display so I can remove the weapons display but keep the health bar.
I don't know how change color of lasers in game, try to search files with WI prefix, but all of it have a correct color, like in real life. PEQ-15 have unvisible ir and visible red, MWAL-DA - unvisible ir and visible green. Try to search HUD elements in files with UI prefix.
It's not about realism so much gameplay and variety for players. I'm a fan of RE games of old where all guns had lasers on them for aiming without a reticle.
I've only been able to swap skeleton files, actually editing them for adding positions/nodes is currently beyond Anvil Toolkit at the moment. Probably worth bugging Kamzik on the discord about it.
Regarding suppressors, their LODSelector hex codes don’t even appear in the WI data files for guns, only their Skeleton hex codes. It’s baffling. I can change the muzzles for every attachment, and even the muzzle brakes for when the suppressor is detached, but otherwise it does nothing. Even fully replacing the muzzles file doesn’t do anything.

Let me know if you're able to figure out how to swap suppressor models around.
Do you know how edit skeleton files (not swapping) for change position of models?
