If you uninstall it, you're losing all the unlocks and blueprints, including the one bought in shop for Ghost Coins....
(edit: it only applies to the character you've been using with this mod - I have another character on the same account and I didn't play it with this mod. After uninstalling the mod, only the character played with mod have lost all the items and is back to the point like it was the beginning of the game).
It didn't help. Deleting files, replacing with backup files or deleting and validating these doesn't help either. My character is reseted to zero, like if I was starting the game.
(edit: are your files from before 20th of september update?)
Sorry this happened to you, I've tested it out and my level, Legit unlocks, are all back to normal once uninstalled. This is uses the latest forge files from the last known update.
[So basically remove the two files from your mod. Then verify the game files and it should be back to normal?]
Yeah, if you don't want to delete just rename the file extention to .forgepops or something random to keep it around so you don't need to redownload the mod and verify to get the untouched files back
So I deleted the files and verified the game files and oddly. The character I used to check your mod is still lacking everything. But I took a look at another character and that one seems fine. All items purchased in the store and Maria's shop are there. That character is fine. Weird.
Unlocked items are assigned only to the character mostly. Mostly, because I can't get back items bought with Ghost Coins for modded first and then unmodded character. The one I didn't play while the game was modded is fine, like yours. My guess Ubi verifies unlocks and saves these to the cloud, so modded this way game at some point crashes and you lose everything.
I'm going chance it. I put a ticket in to revert my slot one character to a day ago. They were able to do it before. Once I completely lost the whole character.
Wanted to post an update on this. If you upgrade all the weapons you get from this mod, to MK3, they'll be linked to your account no matter if you remove the mod later. Came across this while trying to remedy the Optical Camo. Unfortunately, didn't fix the optical camo yet. But you keep the guns if you upgrade it.
Does anyone know how to install this, i've tried to install it with AnvilToolkit and that hasnt worked. Ive downloaded both files aswell. (Im on steam) so can anyone help me?
So they were able to recover my character. I deleted the character in the number one slot. This actually happens a lot, it's a glitch in the game where it over rights that character sometimes. Basically that's the way I explained it. Took about two weeks but they were able to recover it. They didn't say anything but I don't recommend asking them to do it. It was very stressful.
Installed per your video, but nothing happened. I will admit that your instructions are a little hard to understand, but it could be just something I didn't do correctly when installing the mod.
if you got a problem with deleting your original save file, save it then. and if you want to go back to it, replace it. dont just delete it and cry nerd.
CRAZYPOTATO, a lil help please? do you have the forge files before replacing these with the modded files? I lost mine when i shifted to a different laptop and am stuck with the mod. It doesnt matter even if a single thing hasnt been unlocked, i just need the pre modded forge files. My mail: [email protected]
Wish I knew this before I installed it on my ONLY character. My fault I guess, now I have to wait an hour or longer to re-install just to start at square one.
Not hating just informing others. I did a clean update of the game files and reloaded my 100+ mods. So far the new character seems fine. All paid items from the store are available. Seems good except this one mod no longer functions. https://www.nexusmods.com/ghostreconbreakpoint/mods/420 I've used this mod on several occasions so I know it's loaded right. I've collected new weapons in the game from blue prints and missions so not sure why these are not getting added. Normally it makes a sound Q to let you know you gained the item after killing a behemoth. It no longer does almost like it thinks I already have it. Not asking for a fix just keeping people aware.
Yes, any character you use while using the mod will loose everything. This is noted in the sticky above. But can you at least get back to vanilla. Meaning reset the game and start a new character and have access to items you normally would when you start a character with NO mods.
Given the unclear guide, I feel like I need to share my findings on how to deal with the whole Pre Patch bullshit (F you Ubisoft) and the error when using UE mod (including the half-assed unlocked where your camo and attachment is NOT unlocked).

Follow the steps below and you should be able to enjoy this game:
1. Install Pre 20 Sep Patch
2. First, Install UE BUT ONLY the DataPC.forge (DO NOT USE the Pre 20 Patch optional file from this download page)
3. Then, copy the UE's DataPC_patch_01.forge (DO NOT USE the Pre 20 Patch optional file from this download page) to your GBRP main folder. SPECIFICALLY, make two copy.
First copy should be: "DataPC_patch_01.forge"
Second copy should be: "DataPC_patch_01 (2).forge"
4. Unpack those 2 with Anvill. Once unpacked (a.k.a Extracted), go inside the extracted "DataPC_patch_01 (2).forge". Click right on any file and Explore. It should open your File Explorer to the extracted file.
5. You will see "dbcontainer entry" something a long that line. IT SHOULD be on the first few fIle. Copy the dbcontainer entry from the extracted DataPC_patch_01 (2).forge and paste it on the extracted DataPC_patch_01.forge. When you do this, the copied dbcontainer entry from extracted DataPC_patch_01 (2).forge SHOULD REPLACE the dbcontainer entry in the extracted DataPC_patch_01.forge.
6. Go back to Anvil, pack extracted DataPC_patch_01.forge. DELETE the extracted DataPC_patch_01 (2).forge
7. Still on Anvil, go back to the main directory of the game (GBRP main folder), pack the DataPC_patch_01.forge
8. Once done, close anvil, head to the main directory of the game (GBRP main folder), and DELETE DataPC_patch_01 (2).forge
Once this is done, proceed installing other mods of your desire.
This should get the game work, every god damn thing is unlocked (no more partial unlock where clothes are unlocked but your camo and attachment is unlocked BS), and mods should work perfectly.
wait, why should we make 2 copies of the same file, and replace the content of the first with the second? Shouldn't both contain the same 'dbcontainer entry' already?
I just Checked the Dbcontainers. size difference is definitely there. Basically, you are taking the dbcontainerentry from the one which has already everything unlocked, and putting it in the pre-patch one. Remember, it is pre-patch file. It just has file from before september 20. This does not mean everything is unlocked in it.
HOW TO USE IN 2025 so you are gonna download the unlock everything file NOT the pre September one so here is the steps Go to your ghost recon folder by clicking the gear icon when on ghost recon then click manage > browse local files, that is the folder u will do all of this in copy and paste DONT DELETE IT YET just copy and paste the dataPC_patch_01.forge file and the dataPC.forge files that are already in your recon folder to a safe folder just incase u want to revert ur game back to normal Then on the unlock everything winrar file right click then hit "extract to unlock everything" and u will see it in your downloads or wherever you have your unlock everything file currently Next drag the dataPC_patch_01.forge and dataPC.forge files from the unlock everything file into your main recon folder and hit "replace existing files" and run the game and it should work this is the video i watched for this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QbJXw3RlOQc&t=138s i dont understand what he is saying but i can watch what he does and it works
EDIT: Followed these steps. Worked. Notice: 1. Mod was gone. How did I get it back? = Anviltoolkit - extracted the necessary folders -> then run the game via anvil. Vuala! 2. Although what went missing was the colors I bought. But can be bought back. 3. Majority of the Attachments I usually use are unavailable/ and for purchase. I think it reset some of the bought ones. I dunno if I should pick them again.
Can anyone point me to a video that explains how to install mods like I'm a 5 year old? I've watched a couple, and installing mods for GR:BP is a pain in the ass. I just finished the game again for the 6th time, and I want to do a new game plus type run.

DataPC.forge
DataPC_patch_01.forge
DataPC_Resources_patch_01.forge
"Extracted" folder in GRB directory
Verify game files.
That should get you back to vanilla.
Download the Pre September forge files.
Then reload your mods.
