Easiest way to use this mod for legitimate game copies:
Use Vortex to install this mod, then rename the file to GoWR.exe in the mod staging folder and deploy mods so that it overwrites the default exe (Vortex will keep a backup of the original file). Then launch the game from Vortex. Vortex will properly launch the game, but it will run the patched executable (since it has overwritten the original one).
And yes, you must rename the file for the game to launch properly for legitimate copies of the game.
I have an i7 3770k processor and a gtx 1650 graphics card. I'm trying to play the game through Epic Games and my processor does not support AVX2. I think my version is the latest version, so I downloaded the 1.9H3 Exe file, but when I tried to throw the file and run it, Steamapi64.i'm getting a missing dll file error, I can't start the game, can you help
You can download the missing files here: https://www.dllme.com/dll/files/steam_api64 I also purchased this game on Epic Games, but unfortunately, I'm encountering the same error. Even after downloading the missing files, it still doesn't work. It launches Steam, but then displays a message saying there's no license for this game. I haven't been able to fix it so far. Do you have any updates on your end?
The patch is based on the steam version and can't be compatible with the Epic version. To be compatible with the Epic version means I need to have a copy of the Epic game and remake the patch.
There's no way I'm making a free patch for you. I'm sure you know what choices you have to make. You own the choice: 1, Best choice: upgrade your PC for the game. 2, Least expensive option: refund on Epic and buy it on steam. 3, Most costly option: make me a donation (price of the game on Epic + cost of the patch) and I'll get a patch out.
I understand your position. Could you at least tell me what tools or programs you used to configure or patch the .exe file? Maybe you even followed a guide on YouTube or somewhere else? I’d like to try patching it myself if possible.
I don't need any tools, patches are written in C++. You won't find a tutorial for making AVX2 patches. Because it's neither simple nor complicated. If you don't have systematic training in programming, I don't think you can make patches.
So if im correct this download has all these updates in 1 ?
