    Maybe its not in the right side but do you know how to enable the cm factions armor? Any armour has cross sword or a skull.
    I am actually playing the last 1.4.6 union mod pack.

      If you mean a feature that was present in Content Mod where NPCs attacked you based on what armor you are wearing, then im pretty sure it is long gone and was excluded many versions ago.

      It seems to be that then, because I was looking in old versiones and in 1.2.x was already included.Do you know if this feature will be included again?

      No, i do not know if this feature will be added again since i am not one of the developers of the modpack, i only translate it to english, but you can ask the developers directly if they plan on adding this feature back on their discord server (Link: https://discord.gg/bxeQ9Gxfrc)

    Also, do you know what the stringtable.ini and stringtableExpress.ini are for? Are they the text for all of the mods, or for what are they? Did you translate/correct all the text in these 2 files?

      Both of these files are also generated via the starter. I think they only compile the already present translation into these files for faster installation. Send me a direct message on Nexus or Discord if you want to discuss this further please.

    Hi.

    I am thinking to correct the translation for Quest Paket 4.2 in the Union modpack by changing the text in the stringtable.ini and stringtableExpress.ini. Would that be good enough for the translation to be added when installing the mods, or are there other steps?

      Greetings. If you want to do that then you can, since i didnt touch Quest Paket at all yet since it already had english. You only need to correct the translation inside stringtable.ini that is located in the ModFiles folder of Questpaket. The stringtableExpress.ini file can be generated in the starter afterwards so there is no need to edit it manually.

    will the new version of union need updating or will they just update it themself?

      You should probably direct this question towards the developers of Union, not me, I only did this translation. If you are asking if you need to download the new Union update yourself then yes, you need to manually download each new version of Union yourself manually. I do not know of any Gothic mod that ever had an automatic update. Although i would advise against downloading Union 1.3.4 as the developers said that there are issues with that version and that version 1.4 should be out soon on their discord.

      I will continue, the devs asked to implement parts of my translation into the Installer to which i agreed. But the newest version of my translation + any small fixes i might make will remain for download here.

    I don't even know of which mod this is a part of, I know it's from a mod because it's a mute dialogue, but at one point Copper wants 5000 gold for... god knows what, it just says [ENG], even with this mod installed. Does anyone have any idea what is it that he offers/wants?

    Same goes for Wenzel, I installed a bunch of mods as recommended by Click4Gameplay on YT, so I have no idea which mods does it, but it changed the Wenzel quest in a way that I have to get his sword first, not after liberation and just he says "[ENG], [ENG], that's where you'll find the sword" ._.

    So I figured something out. If I don't integrate the mods after installing this mod then all the item names are fine, but most dialogues just say [ENG], however if I do integrate then the dialogues are fine BUT a lot of item names disappear, like Treasure Map. Any fix for this?

      I honestly have no idea how could you still have this issue, i went ahead and double chcked and the "[ENG]" string is literally nowhere in my files, meaning it has no way of showing up. Double check if you did the installation of the translation correctly, maybe you forgot to press "Install checked mods" again in the Union starter after putting the translation in the Union mods folder. But like i said, the phrase "[ENG]" doesnt show up anywhere in my translation files anymore so its not a problem with my mod.

      im having the same issue. what was the cause of yours? it hasn't really affected gameplay but I'm in cape dun talking to the paladin and most dialogue options and subtitles just say "ENG". as well as in the quest log to get his sword back it also shows the same ENG for the location of the sword

      Unless its something to do with 1.3.4 version of Union i dont have any idea how this could be caused. Like i said there is no "ENG" text in any of the translation files that are posted here, i checked i double checked the text "ENG" is not there and if you dont believe me go into notepad and check yourself. I would say that you did something wrong in the installation of the translation, maybe didnt integrate mods a second time after putting the translation into Union but if not i truly do not know how this problem can still persist. I dont know how to fix text that is physically not written anywhere in the file.

    Is this just for the mod pack interface? or for the game? i downloaded and all my game is now in a different language from English idk how to get it to English

      The main file is for the Union Modpack, the optional file is for the starter. If your game changed language for whatever reason you can change it in the main menu, or change it in the ge3.ini file and Useroptions.ini file in your documents . If you didnt, you also need to Install the mods again in the starter after downloading the translation for the changes to appear. My translation files have no way of changing your game language, they only change the strings of Union mods, so it must have been one of the patches you downloaded before installing Union.

      I was just a bit lost in the MDS software but I think I'm good! I've installed a couple of mods from Union pack but the descriptions leave a lot to be desired. It's hard to tell which mods actually add lines of dialogue or new items that need to be translated. That being said, do you plan on translating any more mods? Such as Return of General Lee or Pirate Dream? I would be up for helping. Is it a complicated process?

      Every mod now has an english translation, the ones mentioned by me are the ones that didnt have any text before and i translated them manually. The only thing left to do is to maybe correct the low quality english translation of mods like Consequences and Lively Towns Mod or QuestPaket. Other than that there isnt much else to do besides updating. As for Pirate Dream and Return of General Lee, those two have good translations from my experience. I already did a bit of a walkthrough on what every mod does in czech, maybe i should attach a text file here documenting such things as well? If you wish to help out, send me a message on Nexus, we can discuss it in more detail there.

      Yes, the questpack was quite horrid in the English translation...within 10 mins of playing a new game I spotted over 10+ grammatical errors.  Had to uninstall the (what seemed like mostly gibberish half the time) mod. Thank you for creating this though into something an English speaking and writing person can actually understand.

      Nobody is perfect.  And I would certainly struggle to translate something into a 2nd language in a similar fashion I am sure.  Only an expert of both languages I'm sure wouldn't have issues.
