Welcome to the 1st Barely No SUBTITLES MOD for GTA Trilogy Definitive Editions

Before we start we need to inform you that this mod does not remove the subtitles bug from the 3 gta games created by Grove Street Games. This Mod was build for two things:

1). To Improve and Enchance the overall quality and performnace depending on the system you have!

2). To ensure to minimalize the subtiles that display when characters speak to cj so they are not as much annoying then normal, typically then method we chose was to lower the size of the subtitles so much beyond what you csan set it at in GTA.

The only downside of doing this was: Mission Guide Texts are no longer in normal size since they also act as subtitles, though gps still functions normally, if you can manage without the mission text then this mod is for you.

You may have notice out of the 3 resolutions and settings there 3 folders for different resolutions support that has "HRFT On" in the name this is for those who want to have 3D Directional Audio when firing weapons etc. if you wish to turn this off you can either do it manually or by replaces your GameUserSettings.ini with the ones that do not include HRFT enabled.

Please be advised that all our GameUserSettings.ini files are set to "read-me only". This is set this way because when thge game boots, it will reset and delete lines needed for this mod to work, We recommend you to manually change settings within the GameUserSettings.ini and not within the game as they will not be saved & settingsd will not be applied.


Those this is a odd fix, however no one in the Grand Theft Auto community has made a subtitles fix mod since the release of the trilogy so hopefully this is a temorary fix then a permanent one!

INSTALLTION INSTRUCTIONS:

Before you install our GameUserSettings.ini go to the rockstar games folder located in [Documents]>[RockStar Games]>[GTA San Andreas Definitive Edition]>[Config]>[WindowsNoEditor] and backup your current GameUserSettings.ini in case you want to restore it if anything goes wrong.

If your having issues with your game please copy this line LastOutputMonitorName="" from your original file to the modded one.

To install find the game usersettings in the zip we proveded you and copy the file not the folder to [Documents]>[RockStar Games]>[GTA San Andreas Definitive Edition]>[Config]>[WindowsNoEditor] and then run the game.
