Bump old topic so... after 40h of plying i realize i literally messed up all my romance options by picking wrong answers (beecause I though some of them are cringy to me lol) I succesed to start romance with Aphra(as fem), but my target is Siora(obviously). So instaled few mods, rise my reputation with Siora to max, but I'm able to repeat my dialogues only with Aphra.
edit: nvm I'm stupid af don't know how it happen but last Siora quest trigger for me almost at the very end. Unfortunetly replay bed scene works randomly, I can do it again with Aphra only after Siora scene. But still I'm happy that i can romance with both of them. After restar the game, the funniest bug happen to me. I take Siora and Aphra to bedroom, want to replay my scene with Siora but instead game focus both of them so I end up with Siora and de Sardet(with Aphra animation), Aphra and Siora (Aphra animation) and Aphra and Sardet (Siora animation) I recommened.

?Tested, and working on latest game version without DLC, SHOULD work on game with DLC.?
Note!!!: Does not include "No Fail Option", that optional mod does not require update, current official one is working fine, so use that one.
Note!!!²: Will delete if @Dheuster requests ASAP, for an official update.
Note!!!³: Make sure to also get the Mod Slot Support update I'm posting on there, and following the re-installation step-by-step guide I'll post there. Since this mod affects text, it's VERY NECESSARY to get that right.
Hey! I finally updated this to be very likely compatible with the DLC. You WILL have to do a clean re-install of Mod Slot Support, as I point out there, along with the updated Mod Slot Support I packed up.
I just played this game with the De Vespe DLC, and after some bisection validation, I can confirm that Mod Slot Support would "break" the DLC and cannot properly trigger Lady Morange's dialogue. Since Roman enhancer's No Fail Option patch is using this mod for some dialogue injections, maybe it's because of that mod. Anyway, just my two cents.

Hi, thanks for the mod. I'm a bit confused. I originally played the game without the no-fail file. After awhile, I installed the no-fail file because I wanted to romance Aphra, however, I can't tell if it's working. I'm no longer getting any "Reputation +1" notifications for any companions, so I don't know if I'm progressing in my relationship with them. I'd hate to finish all their quests, only to find out that there was a bug that prevented me from actually increasing my rep with them.
Am I supposed to still be getting notifications about increasing reputation with companions? The base portion of the mod is working - I can still get multiple romance cut scenes with Kurt in my other save file.
Nevermind, I'm stupid. Idk if I'm misremembering the dialogue options giving reputation or not, but I did still get a reputation increase from doing Vasco's quest, so at least that portion is working.
So I am a bit late to the party in playing this game, I installed this mod and was able to get the "snuggle" cutscene to play for Vasco and Aphra, still working on doing Siora's questline to get jiggy with it xD.
I just finished Kurt's questline and got the option to "Accept rendezvous" but when going to the room the cutscene does not play.
I tried tinkering with the files by setting some values to true or false etc but still not getting the cutscene. I did see another post mentioning this, so I don't know if having the "Loving" status for Vasco is causing this issue... But it is weird that I had that status for Vasco but was able to get the cutscene to play for Aphra. Playing as a female (had romance hints and Aphra to female romance mod installed).
Would like to get all romances in one playthrough if possible (Vasco I got quite early on and then got Aphra about 20+ hours later, so I really don't want to have to repeat all that again), will hold fire on talking with Kurt (before the last romance question check and the accept rendezvous question.
Update: Just finished Siora's Romance Questline and the cutscene did not play when going to the bedroom (tried multiple residences).
Is there a way to reset the status of romances as I was able to get the cutscene to play for Vasco and Aphra? (Secondary update, the repeat cutscene seems to only work for Vasco as Aphra just has the standard dialogue) :/ Would like to see the unique easter egg but I don't want to run into the same problem if I play through the game again, only for the cutscene to not work.
Unfortunately couldn't use this as it broke map travel for me :( So if you have that problem and have this mod installed, that's probably the culprit (no idea if anyone has pointed it out before).
It took me an irritaiting amount of time to learn this was why I'm trapped in New Selene. If anything constitutes "desperately needs to be updated" it's being trapped in one part of the map.

There seems to be a solution for disabled traveling, the cause of this problem is the outdated "common_variables.sli" in this package (probably DLC/patch related, as I had those troubles with the Gold Edition).
To fix this, overwrite the common_variables.sli in your mod-folder with the same file extracted from the \packs\datapc_patch.spk archive (sub-dir \variables) - you might need additional tools for this, I used 7zip and Notepad++. Then apply the modification according to the readme.txt, section "Romance Enhancer core game file Updates": Insert those lines right before "<!-- ############### rencontres avec les NPC ############### -->"<VariableInt name="V_Siora_Enable_Repeat" defaultValue="0" ></VariableInt> <VariableInt name="V_Aphra_Enable_Repeat" defaultValue="0" ></VariableInt> <VariableInt name="V_Vasco_Enable_Repeat" defaultValue="0" ></VariableInt> <VariableInt name="V_Kurt_Enable_Repeat" defaultValue="0" ></VariableInt>
And while were on it, there is also a small addition to the new "library_cutscene_loading.sli" file, compared to the one from this mod. Again, copy this file from the \packs\datapc_patch.spk archive, this time it's root directory, and again apply the lines from the readme.txt: Insert those lines to each section of "lvl_02_south_city", "lvl_08_west_city" and "lvl_07_east_city" <cutscene name="cut_mqxx_romanceaphra2.pgz"/> <cutscene name="cut_mqxx_romanceaphra3.pgz"/> <cutscene name="cut_mqxx_romancekurt2.pgz"/> <cutscene name="cut_mqxx_romancekurtmale.pgz"/> <cutscene name="cut_mqxx_romancesiora2.pgz"/> <cutscene name="cut_mqxx_romancesiora3.pgz"/> <cutscene name="cut_mqxx_romancevasco2.pgz"/> <cutscene name="cut_mqxx_romancevasco3.pgz"/> <cutscene name="cut_mqxx_romancesioraaphra.pgz"/>
You can also overwrite both files with the code from here, taken and patched from the Gold Edition of this game. common_variables.sli - https://pastebin.com/w6yKVUKT library_cutscene_loading.sli - https://pastebin.com/kQpUbzuH
With those changes I was able to travel, but I don't know if any other conflicts exists with this mod and the current version of this game; and I'm not that far within this game to see if the mod itself is working as intended.
That's not entirely correct. The files updated and located in \packs\datapc_patch.spk are:
common_variables.sli
library_cutscene_loading.sli
music_library_lvl_02_south_city.sli
music_library_lvl_07_east_city.sli
music_library_lvl_08_west_city.sli
sound_library.sli
coincidentally just yesterday i've been comparing the romance enhancer files to the original onces and the new ones to see if i could fix it or update it. I was thinking of contacting the author to see if he wants to upload the files i edited.
So do you have a functional version of the mod without the bug? If so, I would appreciate if you could share it, even if it is just temporarily until the original mod maker fixes it officially.
If someone is able to get permission for a fix, would love to see that happen. I tried following the fix Morahl posted. When I unpack datapc_patch.spk, there is no common_variables.sli present, even with "hidden items" checked off. It unpacks character, equipment, fx, and gui folders but no variables. Just started playing recently and would love this mod to work for me.
@Morahl THANK YOU! Overwriting both files worked perfectly :D! I hope Dheuster posts an updated mod, but your overwrite worked perfectly! THANK YOU AGAIN!
Here's the UNOFICIAL fix update I packed, thanks to @Morahl for the guide (although the pastebin version linked by @Morahl is using old base game file, and not the Gold Edition updated version, by the way, so it wasn't working for me.)
Just an FYI that the No Fail Option may cause the Mod Slot mod to crash when trying to run it with the No Fail Option installed in the modified #RomanceEnhancer folder downloadable from the above link. No Mod will run fine when the No Fail Option is not included in the folder. So there seems to be some incompatibility between the two.
Hmm strange. I wouldn't know, since I use Vortex Mod Manager to install mods AND run the Mod Slot Support, and it has caused no issue here, and I am using No Fail Option addon.
Make sure you installed it all correctly. And since this game is extremely "file date" sensitive, make sure that No Fail Option's files are newer than the ones from the main (updated) mod, like, reinstalling it just to be sure.
does this mod glitch out the De Vespe Conspiracy? And if so can/how do I "turn it off" for the mod? I've already gone through and deleted files like that before and now I need to replay the damn game.
Very excited to get this one installed (with note that it might break travel). I've accidentally locked myself out of a Vasco romance by picking the wrong options - is it possible to use this mod to correct that? I saw that the No Fail option had second chance romance component (Rejection repair only occurs the first time you load a game after installing this mod.) but I can't seem to figure out how to access this mechanic, if it will work at all in my case. Does anyone have any insight? Or will I have to go back twenty hours into my playthrough :(
So apparently this mod (or any mod) can "corrupt" the save file so that it's impossible to launch the DLC. Has anyone else had this issue and found a workaround?
I'm enjoying the game, but not enough to justify a second playthrough, so I'd hate to have to restart...

I fixed it by deleting Mod Slot Support files.
