What happens is that when this mod is enabled/installed; Siora has no eyebrows and it also breaks other face mods for Siora (they don't change anything).
Noone else seem to have this issue... I have a face mod for Vasco that works without any hiccup alongside this mod.
Is there maybe some line in the notepad file of the mod that I can change so Siora gets her lovely eyebrows back??
I had this problem, too! It's not a mod conflict, there's a typo in the version of this mod I downloaded (from moddb, I think) specific to Siora's model. No other companions have that error, that's why they're all unaffected. Here's the fix:
1) Go to this mod, find the file library_equipment_pla_head (it's in the "items" folder), open it with Notepad or Notepad++. 2) Find this specific line: <deformation id="hea_huf_siora_01" inheritFrom="armor_pla_head"> <model file="hea_huf_player_01.pgz"/> </deformation>. If you can't find this line, you don't have this typo and your problem is something else! 3) Replace <model file="hea_huf_player_01.pgz"/> with <model file="hea_huf_siora_01.pgz"/>. 4) Save and exit the file.
Siora's default look was back and I was able to glam her up with another mod just fine. Hope this helps someone.
Not sure if this is the same uploader, but an updated version of this mod can be found on moddb: https://www.moddb.com/games/greedfall/addons/advanced-character-customization
I ran a diff check between the sli files and they have the exact same file structure. So it's possible that someone else besides OP updated this mod on moddb.
Oh yay! This worked! I also learned that removing the mod "Even More Hair Eye Colours and Skin Tones" wasn't needed since the link you shared had that combined as well.
I managed to get to to work, inside datalocal I made a new folder called datalocal and in there and put both files from the mod in there, then changed version from 1.0 to 1.1 on both sli items. Hope it works for yall too!
Pretty sure what did it was applying the version number update from 1.0 to 1.1 to BOTH the .sli files in the the mod. The ones located in the gui folder and the items folder. Not just the gui folder.
Update the version number of both those files (which is the first line in the file: "<?xml version="1.1" encoding="utf-8"?>") from version=1.0 to version=1.1.
i got it to work: unpack the zip-file, open gui-->preview-->character_preview_library with notepad or similar and change in the first line the patch Version from 1.0 to 1.1 save and close then put both files - gui and items - in the localdata folder...and enjoy.
Doesn't work for me either. Are we at a different version than 1.1? Or 1.2, I tried that too, didn't work. The face slider is very long, but it doesn't actually show any NPC faces. It's stuck on whatever PC face was last selected. Anyone managed to get it to work recently?
I have a strange problem. The mod works, but I havent got Petrus and all Constatine faces ( I have 3 of them, my friend has 5) If someone have any thoughts about that, please help

So, I have an issue with this mod...

GUI > preview > character_preview_library.sli
items > equipment > library_equipment_pla_head.sli

That's what seemed to fix it for me, anyway.
Maybe it's just random chance somehow? No clue.
There's enough people reporting that to assume people are doing it correctly and it's just not working.
If it works at all for some people as they're reporting, there's some other factor going on here.
Unpack with 7zip
Place folder containing both files into localdata folder.
Start new game!
Works perfectly for me!
Unzipped, changed the version using notepad, put folders in data local. Started a new game.
These are simple mod directions when it comes to modding. Either something in directions is wrong, or it doesn't work anymore.
unpack the zip-file,
open gui-->preview-->character_preview_library with notepad or similar and change in the first line the patch Version from 1.0 to 1.1
save and close
then put both files - gui and items - in the localdata folder...and enjoy.
If someone have any thoughts about that, please help
