I just downloaded the latest version from here and I updated my Java, yet the GD stash refuses to open up... I am not sure whats happening. I was looking forward to tinker a bit more inside Grim Dawn. Please help me fix this if possible. I will upload any relevant info as and when needed.
I went and deleted old files of GD stash from C:\Users\Name\GD Stash place.
When I load GD Stash, java is shown in my running processes. However, it takes upward of a full minute or more of no window getting displayed before the actual java/GD Stash window loads/appears.
Are you finding it not loading for you within 2-10 seconds once launching it and you are then end-tasking the java process due to presuming it to not be loading?
If so, I recommend not end-tasking the java process and waiting at least 30-60 seconds to see if it will eventually load for you.
If this happens for you too, I don't know the cause. I've also not seen anyone mentioning it also taking up to a full minute or more before it loads for them as it does for me.
It keeps saying Wrong Directory for the save game directory -- I've followed the FAQ and tried every location I can think of but it keeps showing Wrong Dir.
I think I am doing something wrong here. I extracted the file on my preferred folder. Then I just run the GDStash.exe file but it doesn't start. It only shows the repeating loading icon on the mouse cursor and nothing happens. I checked in the task manager and it shows GDStash (32-bit) running. How do I fix or start this?
Yeah I asked on reddit. It seems there is an issue on this uploaded file of the mod. I followed their advice to try the one from moddb and it worked with no problem. Just download it there and follow the tutorial included in the doc folder.
Unlikely, but does anyone know why in the world I'm having such a hard time making live-edits? It didn't used to be this way a couple years ago... I am unable to have any saves I make to Character specific stash or inventory take into effect without making the changes on the main menu. I make sure I don't push a save in GDStash with any inventories open.
The shared stash is a bit more reliable for live-editing, but even then sometimes it'll fail. I'll transfer an item from stash DB into shared stash, push the save, reload just to be sure it's there, go into shared stash in-game and the item sometimes won't be there (and never is for Character specific stashes). If I hit reload after, the item I transferred over in GDStash will disappear.
It's honestly maddening. I've taken ownership of all files, check to make sure nothing's read-only, disabled cloud save in Steam and in-game. All steps taken properly, as can be evident by GDStash being able to always succeed when on main menu, and live reload/read properly with no issues.

Version 1.8.1d on Nexus Mods is missing the GDStash.jar file and other .jar dependencies in lib/ folder.
