Playing Legend of Grimrock 2 recently... the thing which dissapoints me the most is lack of THIS DUNGEON. Like really... To summarise, if you haven't played Toorum Manor, stop thinking and download immediately!
I disliked the fact that you lose almost all of the primal ore that you find in the first half of the game where it is useless, because it is to heavy to carry and them when you finally find a forge you dont have enough to make all the armors.
To help others: dont lose time trying to make thing on the anvil it is only good for making (the key, adamantite greaves, admantite gloves, admantite boots and admantite helmets), everything else must by done at a specific forge.
Game crashes when I try to recharge Neutron Canon in Maximo Lab.
Here is error log:
#script_entity_446:24: attempt to call global 'removeItem2' (a nil value) stack traceback: #script_entity_446:24: in function <#script_entity_446:1> [string "ScriptEntity.lua"]: in function 'onMessageReceived' [string "MessageSystem.lua"]: in function 'sendMessageToEntity' [string "MessageSystem.lua"]: in function 'broadcastMessage' [string "TriggerEvents.lua"]: in function 'fire' [string "Button.lua"]: in function 'push' [string "Button.lua"]: in function 'onClick' [string "GameMode.lua"]: in function 'mousePressed' [string "GameMode.lua"]: in function 'update' [string "Grimrock.lua"]: in function 'display' [string "Grimrock.lua"]: in main chunk
UPD: I found workaround for this bug. First you need to press button without placing Neutron Canon into alcove, then message occur that you need to place it there and after doing that Canon can be recharged without game crashing.
Just damn great. Not fully perfect, because here and there we can find some annoying things, like, for example, that too much loud noise when ball crashes into wall and stupid pointless noise when you enter into firestaff room, or infinite monster spawn in some areas (it is not hard to kill them but very boring), or these monsters who significantly drops frame rate by their magic attacks. But overall this is very good mod and especially I like very much how hard and how long it is.
UPD: Finally finished this mod and here is my final thoughts about it. Well, second part of the dungeon was very annoying... If I only knew that it will be like that I would probably skipped it and would be happy with that. After very good first half there is too much boring fights in the low levels. Sometimes I felt surprised by your ideas, but almost everything is too tedious there: tedious fights, tedious up and down running through levels, tedious inventory managing (because you never know what is really useful). And the most annoying thing was that depressing surrounding with lame retextured wall sets and sometime also very bad sound design. So, only first half of your mod is good for me, the second ruined my impression and I definitely don't want to play it again in the future.
The dungeon looks and plays really nicely so far, but i'm kinda stuck ... can anyone help? I've reached the great hall level (5 i think), but all the doors are closed, and all i have is a "stairs key" which i can't use anywhere (i already used one earlier, this is the second). Thanks in advance, and great dungeon btw.
please can you be more precise? did you have some other key? the stairs keys are used to open stairs to communicate with the 5 first levels, but there is not really necessary to open them. You can only find some "bonus" in the stairs but nothing that you will need to go deeper. by great hall level, you mean the level with very aggressive yellow beholder?
please, is it possible for you to go to the grimrock forum? there is a link in the readmefile. Because I don't come on nexus very often.
Beautifully done. Unfortunately, I was hoping to never, ever, see that damned timed light beam puzzle again. It may be my keyboard, slow graphics response or my aging reflexes, but the thing is totally unplayable.
I just found a forum that has several ideas on how to get through these timed puzzles. I will adjust my graphics and see if I can continue. Sorry for being a grump.
by light beam, I suppose you mean the green beam in fusion reactor level?
I know that this area can be very laggy, I suppose due to the amount of data in memory. I have play it on high rendering, but all other settings are set to low. But I'm on a core i3 laptop, not very powerful machine. You can improve that by saving the game, quit, to fill out memory, relaunch the game, then reload your save game. I haven't any lag since I ve done that.

I dont have second control room key. It should be in experimental lab, but I cant open that door.
Another mystery is "the twin brothers". I think about gauntlets or boots, but no luck. I guess my "orange key" as cube is right.
what do i do there?
thanks. I would ask on grimrock forums, but the site won't load... and this mod is not on steam.
