can you lowkey add a scarab to citadel... bec i did everything you said and that did not work. I spawn in and the scarab isnt there even after i saved compiled ran the game without anti cheat everything i did and it didnt work bruh. This is literally the one thing i always wanted to do since i saw the halo 3 scarab was an AI with a drivers seat. Which i found out like 14 years ago... Thank you
so i have the mod tools and i have this installed how do i make this appear on my halo mcc? like what files do i need to move from the mod folder to mcc?
Hi! First, open your tags folder in "H3EK" and put in both "camera" and "giants" files in it. You need to run "Sapien" from the H3EK directory and open the map you want. You can place the scarab by simply going to the giants section of your tagset and adding it. Save your map, then, run cmd and compile your map. If you're new or you don't know how to place objects in sapien/compile a map, you can watch a tutorial, there are many videos on youtube and it's pretty easy. If you want I can upload a map with driveable scarabs. Or I can try to guide you on how to do it step by step.
Yeah so honestly I just started using these new mod tools and I'm having a hard time getting this to work. I did what you said to do and I'm obviously doing something wrong here, but the Scarab won't show up when I go to put it in Sandtrap using the Sapien scenario editor. I've been looking up tutorials online, but so far none of them seem to pinpoint the issue here with bringing vehicles like this into a multiplayer map or even how to make them accessible to the player if they aren't already. I'm pretty sure that last part works a lot like Assembly, but overall I'm just a bit lost. I need to learn how to compile maps too. Not to sound like a cop out, but could you upload a map with driveable Scarabs and some AI to torture with them? Lol
Edit: I did manage to put the Scarab in now and compiled my map successfully so I'm gonna try it out. My other questions remain for the time being though. I did find a good source for tutorials in fryingpanproductions on YouTube though if anyone else wants to know.
