   Where can I turn off the old menu music? Can I take the old menu music out of the files? The new menu music and the old menu music are playing at the same time and it's kinda weird.

      you should be able to turn off the menu music within the settings and not affect the mod at all :)

   I installed the mod. backed up my the specific files that it would replace and then installed it into my game yet it doesn't show up and I still see the default background and I can't understand what I did wrong

      Hello, are you an admin on your pc? in addition did you select to replace the files when windows is prompting?

      if you go to your settings you can turn off the menu music, this only turns of the music within the game but not for the mod. if you are wanting the music off for the mod i can certainly do that but let me know id have to upload an update with the option for it.

      there is a readme in the download it has the path that the files would have to be copied to. i highly recommend making a backup of these files :)
