    Hola! creo haber encontrado una posible solución para el problema de los aliados que mueren de un solo tiro y la causa de esta.Para empezar el problema viene con los aliados que cogen el arma del suelo,ellos son los que se quedan a un solo tiro solo después de coger el arma ,sin embargo los otros aliados que no cogen el arma se quedan con la salud y escudos normal.Algo que me llevo a pensar en que el error era esto era compararlo con el nivel original,los marines cogen el arman y no sufren esta penalización de salud y escudos tan extraña.

    Otras dos cosas más que me llevaron a pensar en que el problema estaba ahí era el primero que la salud de estos aliados débiles no se ve penalizada de esta manera antes de coger el arma, si tu les disparas antes de que cojan el arma no mueren de un solo tiro sino que aguantan igual que lo harían normalmente y la otra cosa fue algo que me fije en la edición caos, en esta versión una de las celdas contienen aliados brute guardias de honor estos por algún motivo no cogen ningún arma del suelo y se queda con su rifle de plasma bruto, de esta manera mantienen su salud normal.

    Dicho todo esto se me ocurren dos opciones, una para ser implementada por el jugador y otra para el modder
    -La primera la descubrí por que quería mantener a estos aliados extra conmigo de cualquier manera entonces lo que hice fue usar la calavera sputnik para mover objetos mucho mas fácil de lo normal, de esa manera moví cajas de suministro covenant justo delante de las celdas que contienen aliados para así evitar que estos salgan(Estas cajas son esas cajas tan comunes que hay a lo largo del nivel que contienen armas para el jugador),ese es el primer paso, el segundo consiste en que una vez que ya tenemos a todos los aliados bloqueados subimos a eliminar a los enemigos que bajan del ascensor, una vez todos eliminados tenemos que esperar a que Cortana nos invite a usar el ascensor pero antes de hacerlo deberemos ir a liberar a nuestros aliados de esta manera ya no irán a por ese arma y no sufrirán esa extraña penalización de salud.(Si seguís los pasos que os dije funciona 100%)
    -La segunda opción para el modder(es solo una idea, no tengo ni idea de si funciona) seria intentar eliminar esa animación de los aliados que van a por ese arma o poner a los aliados que recogen el arma sin un arma, es decir si hay dos grunts en una celda por ejemplo, el grunt que va hacer la animación de coger ese arma del suelo ponerlo sin que tenga ningún arma de tal manera que cuando coja la del suelo ahora si la tenga y el otro grunt que no hace esta animación dejarlo con el arma.

      I have an update - I investigated various methods of trying to prevent the allies from picking up weapons, everything from trying to edit their scripting to erasing the weapons completely but no matter what I tried they just conjure a weapon out of thin air and resign themselves to an early death. In the meantime I have updated the level to ensure that there is always one extra ally than required in each cell, so even when the weapon-picker dies there are still enough allies. I hope this helps!

      si es una solucion buena la verdad, probaste la otra opcion que te dije? la de poner al aliado que hace la animacion sin arma?

      I did attempt it but unfortunately there is no way to individually set the weapons of each AI in the cell, they are duplicates of the same AI so each one has to have the exact same values, meaning all the other allies would be weaponless.

      ha vale pues entonces nada jajaja,bueno ya probe las dos versiones,me gustaron las dos pero la de las espadas es la que mas me gusto aunque la otra esta muy bien, otra cosa que me gusto en la de las espadas es la variedad de elites que pusiste
      Por cierto tambien te deje un comentario significativo en el mod del nivel El oraculo por si quieres hecharle un vistazo

    For somereason when i use your mod overhaul my game just crashes but it doesn't crash for any other mod

      I'm sorry to hear that, I would recommend re-downloading the file to make sure it wasn't an error with the download. I ran a test with a fresh download of this file after reading your comment and had no issues.

    Honestly I love all of ya mods to bits, they're so fantastic, and it gives me an optimistic view towards modded campaign maps as the MCC becomes more complete on PC. Thank you for all your hard work that you've put into, and continue to put into, these mods, I'm excited for a High Charity mod if you plan on making it, but I digress.

    I look forward to what you do next :)

      Thanks for your feedback! I am very excited to make mods for Halo 3, I have one in the works now that I was going to hold back for the actual release of the game but now I'm considering releasing an Insider version to act as a sort of Beta. I won't spoil everything but the mission is The Covenant and you get much more Elite allies! In the meantime I have released my first mod for High Charity, it is relatively simple as there aren't as many things you can change in that mission but I do plan on making more editions of that mod when I figure out how to get Elites working properly in the mission.     okey acabo de probar la version de los espadas y hay un problema, algunos aliados mueren de un solo tiro,no todos los elites de las prisiones pero algunos si

      I would also like to add that the allies in the swords of sanghelios version don't follow you anywhere. I don't know what's up with the ai pathing. It's an awesome mod to be sure though :D. You do a great job.

      I did try experimenting with adding follow player commands to the allied Elite squads, but it seems something else is overriding that command. I've been messing around with this mission for a while now trying to fix the weak allies, the mission is a mess behind the scenes

    Just so you know, in the starting room, on the chaos edition, if the flood spawn at all the game soft locks and you cant proceed. Only happens if the flood spawns in on one of the waves. Otherwise great stuff. Good job!

      Thanks for letting me know, I'll look into it - is it possible that maybe one infection form got stuck somewhere? Either way I'll move the Flood to a later part of the level to prevent that from happening :)
