Here's a guide for those struggling. The following worked for me: Install reshade add on version. Once at the "install add ons" screen of reshade installer select the shader toggle group addon (there should be 2 next to each other) Finish installing reshade. Install mod, DONT EXTRACT, Remember the names of the files for later (write them down). Instead click into the zip file and select all inside and manually copy files into the /bin of helldivers. Launch game to ensure Reshade is working. Press HOME to open reshade and head to "add ons" tab. At the bottom there should be the "list of toggle groups" dropdown. IF NOT: Close your game. Head to the bin file. Find the files you moved earlier and move them into the "Reshade-shaders" folder. Launch your game. If you load in and dont see a cape or pressing f3 removes capes. your done. IF NOT: Exit out (again) Go back to the "Reshade-shaders" folder and move the same files BACK to the bin folder. Launch game again and you should load in and see no capes. This is how i got mine to work. If this still doesn't work. Im sorry, thats all i've got
uff im german so im alredy sorry u need to go and serch on your pc for / appdata/local/helldivers2modmanger and delet the mods manual ther or serch for program file ( x86)/steam/steamapps/common/helldivers2 and look ther
last one too chek is C:/User/name/appdatta/Local/Temp/Helldivers2modmaneger and look if mods r ther in a list after u did this u delet all game folders of the game and reinstal ist and u have to purge the modmaneger bevor doing any of the above have fun

u need to go and serch on your pc for / appdata/local/helldivers2modmanger and delet the mods manual ther
