I use the "or" option, meaning i place it manually into the data folder. But when running the HDMM it appears that the manager disables the manual one? Does it even make a difference to place it into the data folder instead using the manager?
Related question: If you replace all the skin tones with your desired one, will it still show the original "random" skin tone to other players (like its technically with all other mods)? I thought it might have a chance that the server just grabs "my skins" from my folder, not nessescarily parsing IDs - or how it works.
I really don't understand however, why they don't making it choosable. Particularly considering the Discord-Mod's sentiment according to contemporary "problematic" things like "digital blackfacing" which somehow appears to 90% with this particular armor while having a history over banning players for using the "wrong emoji" over questionable artwork. : )
However, thanks for the mod. It is making it more immersive for me at least. As some already also suggested, that they should make the vocal lines independent from the settings. In combo with skin tones etc i would love to see a meaningful representation of international helldivers. But i accidently slid to a whole different topic i see. Nevermind
I have tested the mod on the recent update and have not experienced any issues on my end? What sort of problem are you experiencing? Do you have any other mods installed?
I know that the latest major update (with the new warbond) caused many mods that edited models/meshes to stop working. If you have any of those installed, they could be causing an issue. The other option would be to uninstall all mods, reverify the game files, and then test try again.
Awesome mod! Would you be able to make a file that bundles for all skins? It seems that the individual files only changes one type of armor and makes the others default to random tones. It seems that multiple files from this mod cannot coexist, only leaving one active.

from what i've seen in posts on other mods, it seems only the mesh editing mods are broken; retextures seem to be ok.
