Any updates for the config file? I think the latest patch broke it, the game crashes every time I press start.

Installed this config, but I didn't notice any improvement in framerate, noticeably my destroyer isnt fullbright like in your screenshot, so I'm not sure if the config is working or if I've done something wrong.
The file on Nexus is captioned with "enabled async by default", yet when I went ingame that setting was disabled, could it be possible that the game is ignoring the config file and running on the default/game-recommended settings?

I'm 70% sure my system is below min spec for the game, and before installing this config I averaged ~30fps in destroyer and ~20fps in mission. with the config, I averaged ~40fps in destroyer and ~20fps in mission.

AMD Ryzen 5 5600H with Radeon Integrated Graphics
    GTX 1650 4GB
8GB RAM (but more like 6GB because of ryzen's iGPU using 2GB for.. some reason)

Starting the game prompts me to fill out stuff like brightness, audio, etc. from when you first play the game, but I assume that's expected when the file is Read-Only

Apologies if this is solved by something incredibly obvious or if I sound like a madman/incoherent.

If starting the game prompts you to fill out first setup setting it means your config is getting ignored for some reason, usually its wrong value for setting or setting that is not recognized by engine. I will reupload same config with async disabled now since after some feedback it seems to impact performance very negatively on old cpus (which i assume main users of this mod to have).
Also uploaded new screenshots that more accurately represent how 2.0 config will look.

About your iGPU VRAM, maybe try to open your BIOS, then try to decrease VRAM?

Is there a way to get rid of this insanely bright destroyer or will it always be like that?

Hey, overall this worked well, however when I made the changes in the DirectX control panel I received a fatal error: "requires a graphics card that supports at least direct3d feature level 12_0". Is there a known fix for this? Thanks.

Dont use dxcpl if that happens and make sure to revert change.

For Affinity you can do a .bat file with the following:

    cd c:\program files (x86)\steam
    start /affinity FFFE steam.exe

This will disable Core0 for 8Core CPU using "FFFE" HEX Code. This willl work with CPUs such as 7700(X)/9700X/9800X3D, i9 9900K,

For 6Core CPUs (6/12) HEX Code shall be 1FFE

This will load Steam without Core 0 and will apply to all games launched from Steam. Kudos!

PS. Seems it doesn't work on Gameguard, but disabling Core0 for Gaming is meant to improve LOW 0.1% and 1%.

I'd love for you to put some explanation behind each value so I can edit it myself.

For 2.1.1, followed the guide step by step, read the instructions in the file, followed every instruction on the mod page meticulously.
"Requires a graphics card that supports at least direct3d feature level 12_0" is the first error. So I went back and undid the DirectX changes, which got rid of that error.

Just for a CTD with the actual config file itself, which only went away when I removed the config. Copying the old config file lines, as instructed on the mod page, didn't do anything to fix this.

The registry edit, does it only apply to helldivers 2 or does it entirely change the cpu behavior?

I also use reshade tweaks so it might not look exactly like on pictures.
