Doom mods always have suspiciously identical UV maps but they're cooked to s#*!, this was the case for previously deleted mods like cowboy hats and a "cyberpunk" helmet.
I wonder how many users here use copyrighted files from the original game, directly or as a source and only slightly MODIFY them... i wonder how many would be guilty of "reverse engineering" ...oh right, that is all of us (including the users that just download and use mods). Sony/AH could ban ALL OF US via anti-cheat for having any modified files at all. We are all in violation of the ToS/EULA and the modders could all get a DMCA takedown if Sony felt like it tomorrow.
But... a modder taking a file from another modder and modifying it... OH NO! That goes too far!!! we have rights! ...well, not copyright.... but, but ...something, something implied open source license ...maybe ...or something. I've seen those cringe discussions before and it always sounds ridiculous like that. I'm sure somebody can point to some made up BS lawyer text that no one ever tested in court when it comes to modder on modder violence.

Do you think he is having fun modding? Do you think at least some of the users here are having fun using his uploads? That is a yes on both. That is what this thing is all about, FUN, so how about you just let the kids have fun messing around. Some 50 people downloading some file, no matter where it came from, has no impact on your life what-so-ever.
So... If you got a problem with the quality of his uploads, or about the way he behaves, or really whatever, there is a real simple solution: click on his user name, press BLOCK. You never have to see or hear from him again and you don't have to waste time thinking about it anymore. Problem solved?

i'm not gonna sugarcoat it like you but for a person who hasn't been modding or done anything significant in his life to sit down and actually think theft is cool and should be supported then i do not know what to say because that's the most hilarious stupid thing I've heard in my life lmao

there has been lawsuit cases against multiple modders before in different games and i have actually opened up 2 lawsuit cases to thieves before aswell for stealing my digital property, i'm a humble studio owner that makes mods and gives service to people which they enjoy and can buy stuff they want, if my stuff can be stolen by lazy deadbeat untalented individuals and no one will do nothing, people will do something, just like in france, just like in america and just as hell what is going on in right here, right now buddy.

Can you, as a modder, tell me why Helldivers 2 is so bad at accepting mods without crashing? I was very lucky to find your mod to complete some armor sets, it was really good!
During the March 18th update, basically all mesh mods (Mods that replace pieces of armors and weapons) completely crash the game on start up. What you have to do is to look at the "Last Update" section of the mod to see if it has been updated after March 18th, 2025. Audio mods have also been slightly destroyed, it's a coin toss if whether they work or not, but audio mods usually won't cause crashes on start up.
Spaghetti coding probably, they're running on an engine that doesn't exist anymore; every time they try to fix a bug something else unrelated breaks, the game, for what it is, is highly unoptimized. The fact of the matter is, the game's coding is just a giant piece of shit. If you're looking or interested in modding Helldivers 2 I suggest joining the HD2 Modding discord. It's got a bunch of wonderful information and modders that you can ask for a more in depth view of Helldiver 2 modding.
